Food was spectacular. Loads on the menu. Something for almost everyone. Steak I had was perfectly cooked. Top 5 best steak I've ever had. Watched all kinds of dishes going to other diners and it all looked and smelled phenomenal. Will defo be going back.

Wonderful food. We had quesadillas, fajitas, tacos and churros. Really tasty and good value for money. We will return

Soon as we stepped in our waitress sat us down and we got our drinks order insteaks and burgers were delicious we were well looked after will be back

Wonderful service, amazing food. Best Mexican I have had in a long time just sorry we live in Edinburgh. Would definitely, definitely recommend.

Came here Monday evening. First of all, this place is open on Mondays so first good point. They didn't have many customers though (early evening) so we got all the attention. Food was quick, delicious and not expensive (steak below £20 always makes me happy). Totally recommend, totally will come back.

The staff were fantastic and so attentive. The food was absolutely amazing and plenty of it which is great. We will definitely be back. Worth trying folks a wee gem of a place.

I rarely ever leave reviews but I feel I have to for this place. What a gem of a place! I was visiting my parents over Christmas and my mum and I were looking for some place to get dinner. It was busy and we tried a few places that were already fully booked before stumbling upon this place.Now I love food and I also used to be a supervisor in a Mexican restaurant a few years ago. This meal my mother and I had was one of the best meals Id ever had. We shared a portion of nachos - which supposedly was for one but was so large we were almost full and that was splitting it in two. That was before the main meal came out - an absolutely enormous chimichanga (I had beef, my mum had chicken.) It was absolutely enormous but more importantly it was delicious.Im a big guy with a big belly, certainly capable of finishing away meals. For the first time since as long as I can remember, I felt a portion was getting the better of me. i genuinely almost couldnt finish it it was so big. I forced down the last few mouthfuls as maw never raised a quitter but it was absolutely first class.My mum paid the bill (cheers Frances, next one is on me!) and she then said she couldnt believe how cheap it was.I stay in Edinburgh so have the nearby access to lots of different cuisines that living in a city grants you but I've never known Tex Mex food to be opened up in Killie or any of the surroundings towns (although maybe Irvine or Ayr has one idk.)I just hope more folk go try it out. Mexican Food is the best. And this Mexican place was better than any I've been to and I used to eat Mexican food literally 6 days a week.My mum and I were initially frustrated that we had went a few places that were full but upon finding this Tex Mex we were absolutely buzzing. I will certainly be making sure to go back next time I'm home and encourage anyone else to go try it out!!

We visited this restaurant for dinner on a whim when the restaurant we had initially wanted to go to was fully booked. I'm really glad we did, as the whole experience was fabulous. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, including talking to us about how we like our food in terms of spice. The food itself was amazing, probably the best Mexican I've had. The portions were so large neither of us were able to finish them. Not a restaurant we would have thought of visiting before, but now we have we're looking forward to going back again.

Very disappointing, booked on the back of other decent reviews. From the beginning, the service was slow, and the things we ordered weren't available (e.g. tacos!). The decor doesn't make you feel like you're in a Mexican restaurant (see pics), and one of the main courses was served cold. We mentioned this to the waiter, and we weren't charged for it, but even with that nice gesture, it was an over-priced meal for what it was. Even the Margarita cocktails didn't taste right 😕

First time here today. We arrived not long after opening and were the only ones in the place. Nicely decorated, nice authentic music, and polite and friendly staff. We ordered a burger and the nachos with pulled pork. The meal was delicious. The burger had a lovely flame grilled flavour. The nachos had homemade guacamole, salsa etc. The large starter nachos were big enough to have as a main meal. We will definitely be back with the family!
