The Blair in East Ayrshire

The Blair serves the most delicious food with a menu that has something for everyone.We were in celebrating my Dad's birthday and the staff were lovely, going out their way to make sure he was well looked after.You need to book of an evening as it is a busy venue but we'll worth the visit. X

First class service from friendly and efficient staff. Very extensive menu and reasonably priced considering the quality. Wine was excellent and again good value.

We had an excellent late lunch at The Blair. There was a big choice of food on the menu, the staff were so helpful and there was a lovely open fire in every room. Sometimes places can be too loud for my parents to hear properly but the atmosphere in there was really good.

Beautiful place and lovely cosy atmosphere, staff very friendly and helpful can’t do enough for you. Good is out of this world (the chef is definitely wonderful)❤️ Service is first class.Can’t say enough about this place the setting is beautiful lovely grounds plenty parking and beautiful interior.My father had a fall and staff were so helpful and caring thank goodness he is fine. Booked a family dinner for 10. Welcomed on arrival, table ready & covid measures in place. Great selection of food & drinks on offer from menu, something to suit everyone. Attentive staff, great service & great food in a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.

One of my favourite eateries. I love the setting of the Blair and inside is so cosy. The food is delicious with good sized portions and a good selection of dishes. Staff are really friendly too. Book in advance as it is always busy and quite rightly so.

This is like an institution. Heard it's been in business for ages. I'd call it a modern Scottish restaurant. Yes you'll find haggis and steak pie here. I opted to try something else, all yummy. They have a little gift shop at the front. Tip: reservation is a must, they get busy here even during weekdays. There's outdoor seating but I've not seen anyone sit outside, ahh my be the scottish weather ;)

Sometimes, I think good restaurant is combination of all, tasty food, good presentation above all lovely, warm and hospitable staff. I think The Blair has it all. I happened to drop by while visiting Blair Activity Center, upon arrival I was asked if I have reservation, which I could see jam packed restaurant from outside, capacity to the place is 61, at the moment. Finally we were seated outside, in the well maintained garden. It was really very relaxing place, the server lady was very polite, took our food order. We ordered Coke, Burschittas as starter, main course was Baked Macaroni and crispy Chicken Strips. Good portion side. Couldn't find one fault in anything. Especially their Crockery is very distinctive. Food was superb. Great thanks to Sharon and one more staff lady (sorry forgot to ask her name) what a polite team. One suggestion please wear name badges, so I am not embarrassed to write that I forgot to take name)Booking in advance is highly recommended. Well done team Blair for superb job. Will be back soon..
