Unexpectedly lovely menu in what we thought was only a cafe but had a full menu of delicious options for meals and a drinks license. Well set up for covid safety measures - one of the best I've seen. We walked in from Glasgow Road through the pathways round the fields and the woods. The food being a reward for the walk overlooking the loch. Well worth a visit! (Probably best to book).

Dreadfully overpriced mediocrity.I had a simple breakfast, bacon & eggs, toast & coffee. £14.60 for two very modest pieces of bacon, two eggs or so scrambled, two pieces of cold toast—no jam, and two flat white coffees. The food was OK, but it’s hard to mess up bacon & eggs. The service was ok but no better than that. I was here with a group, but I’m not ever eating again. Absurdly expensive for what was delivered.

Love the location in Craufurdland Estate. Its beautiful beside the lochan. Not surprised they sit fishing in the sun there. The Lairds Table is quite expensive. The kind of place you'd book for a special celebration. There is also a great wee cafe further round at the entrance for the fishermen. You can have a cuppa & cake, or hot/cold rolls etc. Much cheaper. In between the restaurant & cafe are the toilets. Ladies, Gents & 1 disabled.

A lovely location for a lunch/dinner or just a coffee and cake.Overlooking a fishing lake in a private estate. Also possible to go for walks and take part in outdoor adventure experiences with children. All tables/chairs from recycled wood. Lots of memorabilia adorn walls and the tables of restaurant from past history of the area. Recommend thoroughly for somewhere unique to go.

Setting and scenery great. Service and value for money poor.Went for breakfast. Tea and coffee finished before breakfast arrived with no cutlery.5.50 for 1 slice of toast and about 4 spoonfuls of beans!? Really?Don't mind paying high prices so long as there's value for money.Disappointed

·

Wonderful restaurant, in a great location. Totally recommend the Laird's Lunch.

·

Excellent situation super service . I only had coffee so hence four star. However I will most definitely be returning and if service is as good as it was and food to match guessing this place would score tops. Worth a visit.

Beautiful restaurant overlooking the fishing loch.Has a great menu at affordable prices, sadly it's takeaway menu only just now due to the coronavirus restrictions.Local walkers, cyclists and fisherman use the popular kiosk cafe attached to main restaurant.
