The Milhouse Hotel in East Ayrshire

Only deducted one star as the air conditioning was too chilly and made food chill. I should have asked to move but as the food was served we just ate quickly.

First time eating here. We'd booked early on a busy Saturday night (despite the awful weather). We were served fairly quickly & the food didn't disappoint. I had Sea Bass, which was delicious - and we were glad we'd saved room for dessert, as neither of us could resist the selection on offer. Overall good service, good food & good value. We'll be back soon.

Very disappointed with the service, poor children's menu, my 3 year old grandson got a pasta dish topped with parmesan cheese which he couldn't eat, even adults are usually asked if they would like it at the table, but this was added in the kitchen. I ordered fries with my meal but I had finished my meal before they arrived. My son and wife ordered chilli fries which they didn't get, but were on the bill. The only reason I gave 1star is the app doesn't let me give no stars.

Absolutely outstanding in a spectacular setting, food took a while to come but was worth the wait, staff were excellent under busy environment. Can’t wait to go back again !!

Part of the Buzzworks group so you know it’s a quality place.Always great food at a great place with fabulous friendly staff.Busy at weekends so it’s essential to book ahead.Fish and chips are incredible, haggis starter was delightful.Mussels were great and the pie was outstanding.Very impressed.

Best vegetable tempura and onion rings I have ever had. Very friendly and dogs highly appreciated too. Spent some time here and wd highly recommend

A lovely place with great atmosphere and fantastic staff, they were very accommodating for our little one.Nice simple menu with options for all and a lovey selection of drinks.Can't say a bad word about it.

Absolutely loved this place. The Mill House has a modern clean feel and is spilt up in to two. One part is a restaurant and the other a bar. We went into the restaurant which had a nice casual vibe. The staff were friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. Perfect place to enjoy a meal and relax. The cocktails are fantastic too... I'd recomend popcorn coffee martini.
