Meal was really good, staff were friendly and beer cold.

Gastro pub at it's finest. Extensive menu with unusual specials. Well worth the visit.

1st rate food and friendly service.Something on the menu for every appetite. The only problem you'll have is deciding what to choose.Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

Didn't have a booking - just took a chance they could fit us in . It was really busy but they fitted us in . Meal was really nice . Meat cooked to perfection . Staff were very pleasant and helpful . Will definitely be back

This place is amazing you will not regret going here, the food is amazing all fresh veg and beautifully presented, staff can't do enough for you. The actual place is lovely with an open fire and a lovely rustic country feeling. Best place I have been for a while.

Fantastic meal tonight for my partner and I. The steak pie meat was absolute melt in the mouth and she loved it. The salt and chilli chicken starter was also delicious.

Excellent food, extensive menu, great surroundings and friendly staff.You need to go early in the evening as the kitchen staff seem to be in a hurry to go home.There were some very negative reviews earlier in the year. I'm not sure what might have happened (it was during the COVID restart period) but we have been twice in the last fours weeks and it has only been first rate.

Brilliant meal and service and setting (see photo)! Will definitely be back to enjoy another night of dinner and drinks with family. We were made to feel so welcome by all the staff, from the hostess to the server to the bartender. Food was really good too, with generous portions both to start and finish. 5 stars all the way!!!
