straight up avoid this place folks, the town deserves better!!! prices have shot up by £2 odd on nearly everything in recent weeks as the owners try to fleece as much cash out of hardworking locals. kids meal up from £5 to £7.20 for example - they are paying the same for the food getting delivered, most of which is pre packaged frozen nonsense, so where is the extra on top coming from? GREED. hopefully the good towns folk turn on this joke and it disappears as quickly as it arrived!!

used to love this place but the sudden price hike on kids meals etc is a joke, from £5 upto £7.20 is an absolute disgrace. wont be using again. in a time when we are all trying to save money these unscrupulous swines are ripping you off. take some advice AVOID these greedy swines

What a great sandwich I had the lemon herb chicken burger delicious.. Staff could be a little more friendly

The mild sauce was absolutely disgusting and the chicken was stone cold I am sure it has gave me food poisoning as I have been sick 11 times

Brilliant place. Go now before it gets too busy. Fresh made, better than Taco Bell. Polite Staff. Its a.bit more expensive than your McDonald's type fast food, but its comfy, relatively quiet, and tasty. Well recommended

First time, loved it. Chicken so fresh and well cooked. Staff so attentive and welcoming. Taste the flavours first and you won't be disappointed.👍

The prices don't really reflect that it is fast food that is being served. KFC, and other similar franchises, will not have much to be concerned about competition wise. Nandos certainly don't.With more teens hanging around than actual customers the vibe isn't exactly family friendly.Not an auspicious start for Black Rooster in Irvine.To be fair I felt sorry for the staff who seemed to be doing their best with the hand that they'd been dealt. The three stars are all for the staff.

Very disappointed and def not worth the money, you would be cheaper and fuller if you went to kfc. Teenagers sitting at tables not eating but carrying on, spoke to manager who did nothing, although to be fair they were only a few years older than manager. Felt intimidated and left.

Decor very sparce, was shown to the table but wasn't informed you have to go up to the counter to order !!!Large portion of chips but very small pitta bread and burrito with hardly any chicken inside.Noticed a group of lads, who one of which had purchased a take out sitting at a table with 5 others who hadn't purchased anything.Won't be visiting again 😕
