Burger Hut in North Ayrshire

We’ve used this restaurant many times before with varying levels of satisfaction, often good, often bad. Tonight was too much, the food was late with very little topping (pics as proof). We didn’t order dough with very little topping, spoiled our evening. Will think twice before ordering again.

I agree with Mohsin, best food in Kilbirnie, Beith, Daley and Gateside, but I'm not sure about Lochwinnoch.

Disgusted with the service at this take away. My gran ordered us a dinner, and said she wanted curry sauce with her fried rice but no one listened. And when he repeated the order aloud, she couldn't hear but just nodded along(she is deaf) .Now, the man put down as fried rice and no curry sauce, so obviously HE wasn't listening. Plus, when my gran asked for the curry sauce to be sent to her house, he asked for her to pay over 5 pounds, which she shouldn't have to pay as it was his fault for not listening.I do not recommend this take away to anyone as the customer service is diabolical and no one seems to listen to their paying customers.

Extremely poor service. Ordered food at the weekend, was told it had arrived. It hadn't so I waited a few minutes in case it had been marked as arrived early. I then phoned Barbecue Hut and was advised the driver was 2 minutes away. I waited a further 20 minutes and phoned again as still no food had arrived. I was put through to the driver who told me it had been delivered and a teenage boy had answered the door. The house was an all female house that night so our order was delivered to the wrong door. I mentioned this to the driver who then tried to argue he had delivered it to the correct house and eventually admitted "must have delivered to the wrong door then" and passed be back through to Barbecue Hut. I was then advised the kitchen was shut so we would not get a delivery that night. That was no use to us as there was no food in the house and nowhere was open at that time of night (12.15am, 2 hours after placing our order). I was then reluctantly offered a refund, which I stated was the minimum I expected... 4 days later and I am still waiting to be contacted about this refund. Ridiculous customer service!

Absolutely diabolical service tonight , ordered food 3 hours ago and phoned on a few occassions when food had apparently beeen delivered to be told it was just a few minutes away after 20 mins it still never arrived called again to be told its probably went to the wrong address to then be advised we can probably give a refund?!?! you think so when its 12.15 no where else is open and we can PROBABLY ?! get a refund or get our food tomorrow ?!!??! honestly BANG OUT!!

Ordered a large kebab n hot bite pizza. Waited for pan hour n a half for the food. Food was stone cold. The pizza wasn't laid flat when in transit. The topping had ran to the one side of the pizza. Terrible service. Had to fix myself n reheat. Won't ever order again. Wish I hadn't left a tip 4 the driver. As its his fault the pizza was in such a state. Never again. A********

Order through just eat. Two hours for delivery and when it arrived food was stone cold. Called the shop and was told its because its cold outside. If that's the case invest in a thermal bag sure tesco would sell u one. Restaurant said tough we ordered through just eat so not our problem. If you want warm food, order from somewhere else. After food was reheated it wasn't the best.

Ordered via phone and collected in person. Had to wait on order when we arrived although we were advised it was ready more than 5 mins before we got there. Given the wrong curry, chicken instead of lamb, even after 2 phone calls where we were specific about it being lamb and that's what we were charged for!! Chicken pieces tiny and hardly any of it, absolutely no more than one small breast. Not impressed at all, will try different take-away next time as there are another 2 in the town.
