Had a filter coffee, instead of cappuccino. £3.70 for a small mug of coffee is not great value.

Best steak pie I have ever had worth every penny

Staff were lovely, coffee excellent and my breakfast roll was done how I asked for it. Perfect crispy bacon. Bought cakes to takeaway. mmmm.

Great place for a quick bite and coffee. Staff very helpfull can be over crowded at time . But worth the visit. Excellent value for the money.

Visited as part of a group with the local Rock Choir so we had seats reserved, may have struggled for a seat otherwise as it was busy when we arrived and there was a steady stream of people coming in. Lovely home made soup, very busy since it was lunchtime but very quick service, staff were friendly and polite, we will definitely be visiting again.

Eaten here a lot. Normally for a coffee and a cake, or a breakfast. Always a high standard of food and service (friendly and polite). First time I've had a Steak Pie with an actual steak under the top. Lovely.

I was in today with 85/93 year old aunts, we placed order, the service was good, place was clean and excellent Covid conditions.When checked back my aunt informed them the Bakewell Tart was dry and no jam on the inside or trace of almonds.The owner behind the counter may nodoubt that she was talking about usThe bill was then placed in front of us with no apologyI then informed her I was not happy to pay for it and was treated to abusive tone and I was talking rubbishSHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE

very impressed with the breakfast meal, the staff in our opinion went the extra mile ( so to speak), especially the blonde lady. Theinterior was spotless, welcoming with reasonable prices.In fact the service was that good, we called next morning before heading home.Ian & marlyn.
