This is possibly the best place to get food on the island! It has lovely views over the seafront and there's a pair of binoculars if you can grab them to look out at little cumbrae and Arran. I always have the breakfast here and it's second to none, fantastic. I've really missed square sausages! It is quite small here so if it's busy you won't get in, but it's worth the wait.

The cafe is small but perfectly situated. The decor is fresh and very 'seaside' with lovely art on the walls. They have appropriate Covid measures in place. The owner is really friendly and helpful. I visited a few times during my stay. The full breakfast might seem expensive but it is so filling I didn't eat for another 7 hours and even then it was just a sandwich. The produce they serve is amazing and the owner will happily tell you where it's from (neighbouring island so all locally produced, he should be on commission from the butcher!)On my last morning I had a roll with bacon and black pudding, again it was so filling. Cooked to perfection. I really wish I'd taken away some cake or one of the huge scones that looked so very good. The only problem I can see is that the food is so delicious you want more but are stuffed!

Arrived at the dancing midge yesterday morning for some breakfast. Warm welcome from the owners, clean bright and Covid safe. We had 4 breakfast rolls sausage and bacon with potato scones and 1 haggis and black pudding. All the rolls were fresh and fillings were great. Highly recommend. And the view over the bay was spectacular. Great place to eat.

Great hot rolls and lovely coffee. Friendly welcome and service too. Cakes looked amazing, but I was already stuffed. I would go again if and when I find myself in Millport.
