Great food and service beautifull place

Superb overnight Spa package. Lovely family room for 3 people. Afternoon tea with a glass of fizz. Robe & slippers provided. 25 minute spa treatment of choice. Use of sauna and steam room then into the hot tub for more bubbles. Delicious 2 course evening meal and a hearty cooked breakfast in the morning.Staff and owners went above and beyond to make our experience first class.. Would recommend and we will definitely be back.

Dropped in this afternoon for a coffee and was met with a very warm welcome. Hotel restaurant has been recently renovated so will be checking out the menu/food soon. 😎👍🏼

What can i say, this hotel was amazing, the food was delicious, the afternoon tea was simply fantastic, the staff couldn't do enough for us (it was my future daughter in-inlaws hen do). The Spa treatments were out of this world hats of to Sharon who had to deal with my wreck of a back and shoulders she was such a great masseuse. All of the staff were great and were in no way intrusive. We had the best time ever and would definetley recommend to anyone. I can't put into words how welcoming and comfortable we all felt. Will defintetley be back. Oh!!!! and the hot tub was an amazing, luxury looking over the river. Loved every second of being there. Well done to the Chef, Gerrard and Allan and Lorna Thank you from the bottom of my heart.❤❤

Sadly, this little gem was showing signs of neglect. Our room needed new carpet & curtains. A coat of paint required in Hall way wouldn't go a miss. Positives were, the lovely staff,helpful & friendly. Food good with large portions. This was a deal, so got what we paid for. With thanks

1st time there and was disappointed . Checked the website and menu was completely different to what was advertised. Menus were also just typed on A4 paper on a clipboard. Not acceptable for a hotel...Food was ok, nothing special.Restaurant has been refurbished but to a low standard of finish. Waitress was lovely.In my opinion as they are a bit out of the way they need to up there game.I won't be rushing back.

Was in for dinner on Wednesday night with my partner for our first visit and will definitely be back. The food was excellent and the service was equally as excellent, the waiter I think his name was Jamie was brilliant nothing was to much trouble for him and was full of smiles and banter for everyone. Already recommended to friends and looking forward to using our loyalty card that we received.

this place went quite downhill so we stopped going. NOW - noticed it was under new management so in we went for lunch and got enthusiastic and attentive staff plus a chef who provides lovely food in just the right size of portions. All too often pub grub tries to overwhelm using volume over quality - not now at the Dalgarven!Just to prove it wasn't a fluke, we went back this week as well and were suitably pleased that all is going in the right direction - well done new management and your staff.
