Duncans Bar & Bistro in North Ayrshire

Service is good. The coffee was good. Its clean & the waitress was really thoughtful & asked if I would like the blinds down it was a hot day & this made it a huge difference we very comfortable. Would go back & get something to eat the food looked lovely.

Went in on a very busy Sunday while at Cruise Irvine. I wasn't sure if we would get a table due to how busy the place was but they managed to squeeze us in and I'm glad they did because the food was amazing! The staff went above and beyond to help a chap in a wheelchair, waiting on him hand and foot and taking his drinks outside for him. I also have to mention that the toilets have free sanitary products, something that 99% of places still (shockingly) charge for! I thought this was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Just had a really good Scottish breakfast at Duncan' Bar and Bistro.Good service, good food in a nice relaxing atmosphere.Thoroughly enjoyed and will be coming back.

Great food atmosphere and location. I have been a few times for lunch and recent confusing experience for dinner. Having lunched the day before - I asked for snowball dessert and quite emphatically told I could absolutely not have vanilla ice cream instead of raspberry ripple - never even asked kitchen. Next night for dinner not allowed to order from main menu and restricted menu quite disappointing then when ordering dessert I said out loud to my fellow guest I would have ordered snowball dessert but don’t love raspberry ripple and dislike sauce - SAME waitress interrupted saying I could have it with vanilla ice cream and no sauce - who knew

Went to the restaurant last night. It was 30% off and it was busy. Only two members serving at front of house. They were both run off their feet. This resulted in poor service Not the fault of the staff who could not have worked any faster. Ordered a vegan burger with vegetarian haggis it was pretty disgusting. I thought we had progressed with vegetarian /vegan food, it doesn’t have to be tasteless. Same last week with butternut burger. Still waiting for the coffee Had to ask for the bill several times. Not a place for vegetarian/ vegan food lovers. And if you’re going to have promotions GET MORE STAFF..

Really nice bistro service was good, very efficient staff and the food was really tasty I had beef burritos and for a lunchtime snack was more than enough, would recommend and hope to revisit in the future.

Food and service fantastic as always. We visit regularly and have never been disappointed, would highly recommend.

Wonderful meal and vibe. Had an awesome time at Duncans.Great service and as we were there on. Tuesday, it was 1/3 off teh whole cost.Recommended.

They don't have a big menu but we enjoyed our foods. Desserts were also delicious and staff were very friendly. They cleaned tables after each customer and tabels laid out well for social distancing.
