I came down from Glasgow with the family to have a chippy by the sea, and we were disappointed.I didn't wait long for my meal, which left me sceptical; I was right to be.It wasn't badly priced in their defence.I had fish and chips, and the fish was soggy.My fiancé had the chips and cheese, and she said it was OK.My son had the kids sausage supper and said the sausage was also soggy.Avoid this place if you want a decent fish supper.

Fish was good but lost one star for not putting on enough tomato sauce even though I asked for loads.

Brilliant. First visit. Will definitely be back. A proper traditional no nonsense great value sit-in chippy. Nice big seating area, absolutely spotless. Great staff. Quick service. Hot fresh delicious and good portions. Also sells wee toys and trinkets for the kids.

Large fish supper (2 fish and chips) £6.40 (2021). Good service. Fairly standard quality, small size of fish representative by the cheap pricing, good value. Chips a bit dry, fish better but too oily.

First words out of my wife’s mouth. “We are coming here again” and she had not finished her dinner. Fish, chips and peas, not something I eat a lot of, these where worth the five starts.The place was a half full, a lady too are order very quick, maybe 10 minutes the food was on the table. Good portion, looked fresh, not greasy, very hot, tasted was spot on. Staff where polite.The place was clean and tidy. Good price.Note, Cash Only.Something I said I was starting to do was write about water prices,Well this place did not let me down, a bottle of water for the right price, so I purchased one.
