So much cheaper than those on the beach front but much much tastier. One of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had, would recommend you try the aranchini it’s incredible!

This is the best chippy in largs. Very friendly staff. They do vegetarian meals

Used to really enjoy eating here, especially considering my partner is Gluten Free and they had an excellent Gluten Free menu. However as the past few months have gone on, it is noticeable that standards have slipped and the service is really now poor. I went during the week at 20:40, despite being open until 9pm being told no food other than chips was available. Also, everytime we have visited their GF selection has been getting smaller and smaller. Tonight the staff were particularly unhelpful, saying most of the GF menu is being discontinued and nothing but sausage or fish available. If things are not available it shouldn’t be advertised as it just leads to disappointment. The staff’s education on GF also seems to have gone completely too. Will not be back, extremely disappointed.

I have been a few times and I can say that yes it's a good place to get a fish and chips. But not tonight. Had to wait 15 minutes before I saw them cooking the fish. And I did say is that you just cooking it after all this time waiting. And when they did get around to servicing it I did get a sorry for the wait which was around 30min in all only to find the chips like the photo you see. So no not good for tonight.

They had a lot of phone in orders to deal with but around 25 minutes to wait for a walk in order is to long . Fish good but very small compared to other chip shops not good value for money. I doubt if I will return.

Really disappointing meal. Both of our curry sauce pots were only one-third full, the chips were overcooked, and the fish was swimming in grease. There was also a sandy, gritty substance on some of the chips. Overall, a poor meal and I won't be buying from here again.

Absolutely brilliant, we loved our first visit this evening. It's great value, with everything freshly prepared and best of all, it's a Gluten Free haven!Excellent and large menu choice for GF customers, and also for Vegans. We'll definitely be regular customers now.

Gino's Fryer is the best chippie in Scotland! Who says? I do! Every time I get to fly home to Scotland, I anticipate visiting Largs, if only to enjoy a scotch pie supper before heading to Nardini's for ice cream. The french fries are amazing and usually served nuclear hot, with lots of salt, just the way I like them!

Gluten free fish supper. Delish and very generous portion, the fish was as big as the box. The staff are very knowledgeable on gluten free foods which is most re-assuring. Speedy service and really friendly staff. Would recommend.

Excellent vegan fish and chips!I will definitely come again to taste all their other vegan options!P.S. They forgot the tartare sauce (it says it comes with it on their menu). Which is why I took a star off.
