JD Wetherspoons in North Ayrshire

I never believed it when people said they water down your drinks, but now I do. Ordered whiskey and cokes and tasted nothing but juice, took half an hour for our first drink order and staff attempted to blame me for not looking for the waiter and calling them over (Even though it was ordered through the app with a table number). This was my 2nd time visiting and it will be my last.

Loved this place. The fact that we didn't have to go near the till to order food or drinks was great! No e and easy. They were also brought to the table fairly quickly. We spent hours. Lovely food and I really like the fun cocktail pitchers.

Nice place but the last couple of times I have visited, staff seems to be a little laidback. Curry was nice , naan was cold and okaish.

Placed order for mains and drinks. The mains came and none of them were hot, just warm. The rest of the group powered on with theirs but I had to ask kitchen to microwave meal. Family member with the mixed grill found lamb to be very tough and chewy and when cut open it was very rare in middle.Then placed order for dessert which took longer to arrive than the mains did. Think these had been sitting for a wee while as most of the ice cream has melted.I k ow the food is cheap but I've had better from here. Disappointed.

I love going here for food and drinks but a few times now the meals haven't been hot enough by the time we got it. I know people say you get what you pay for but it should be hot.I think if would help if kitchen had a way of letting floor staff know the meals were ready as they sit too long at the hatch

Wonderful evening spent with family. Child friendly, able to prebook a table. Haggis and whisky was available for Burns night

Top class place! Great prices and great chicken wings! Also the mac n cheese is proper US of A style which i love! Gregor is the our favourite staff member even though he is a Bengals fan but we don't hold that against him!

We both ordered from the 'grill' menu. One had a sirloin steak. The other a large mixed grill. We always get onion rings too. Both had a pint of soft drink. £21 in total. Great price. Good food and super service. It's handy too, esp when shopping in the Rivergate Centre.

Very nice place, friendly service and nice food. Only complaint is the place is a bit small so can be a struggle to get a table but nothing they can do about that

You know what you are getting in a Wetherspoons pub. Generally a well presented place. There is a basic menu and range of drinks. Food was good and staff friendly enough.
