Lauriston Hotel Restaraunt in North Ayrshire

Went for a walk down Saltcoats beach when my sister and her partner were over, terrible weather and we had Lunar (dog) with us.Popped into the Lauriston bar, loved it!Staff were so lovely and friendly and they loved Lunar. Drinks good price, nice atmosphere. Loved it!

Very freindly staff, decor very nice,Scottish,cosy landscape theme. Food is presented very good and is very nice,great value for money,extensive, different menu.

This is our second visit here. The staff are fantastic so is the food! The views were just lovely from our room. The sweet potato chili soup is something I highly recommend you try!

Staff were friendly and professional, main course was nice enough, but my sticky toffee pudding dessert was rather poor. Dry bit of sponge with a dribble of sauce. Can forgive the main being ok, but don't ruin my dessert.

Had a nice big room out to the front looking towards Ailsa Craig. Food in restaurant good and well priced. Breakfast was lovely. All staff nice and friendly. Room had a new bathroom suite recently fitted however the rest of the decor in the hotel a bit tired. Good price though and central location and would stay again as it's all about a balance.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Lauriston Hotel on Halloween and we couldn't be happier. From the moment we arrived until we left the following morning we were exceptionally well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Staff were very attentive and friendly and I can't thank them all enough for helping make our night one to remember for the rest of our lives. We had 3 vegan guests and they raved about their vegan platters!As for our actual overnight stay we were very impressed with the size of the room. The hospitality tray was lovely. Filter coffees, tasty Scottish treats and MUGS! Honestly, when you've had a heavy night, a tiny teacup just doesn't cut it! Lol. We had bathrobes, plenty of towels, toiletries (including feminine products, cotton balls and cotton pads. Very thoughtful!). We had our lovely breakfast at our table in our room overlooking the beach and the Isle of Arran. A perfect end to our momentous day. Thank you so much for looking after us and our guests.

The food was really good excellent menu and reasonable price. Staff really friendly.

Stopped here for 3 nights. Great value traditional hotel, breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. We caught the early ferry to Arran and they provided breakfast rolls. Staff really helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and fresh. Great place to stay and would stop here again.

What a fantastic hotel, just the ideal place to go if you want great food, fantastic service along with really nice surroundings with a Scottish theme. Rooms were spotless and served the purpose well. I most certainly enjoyed my stay there and the personal touch just added to my overall love for the place. I cannot wait to go back there.... FANTASTIC in my book 😁👍

We are a family visiting as a father, daughter and dog. We really wanted to eat here and I have seen them in the Androssan Herald as dog friendly. Unfortunately they don't allow dogs and children! Dogs only allowed in the public bar and children are not. Dogs are not allowed in the outdoor area. So you can take your kids and you can take your dogs but you can't can't wait take both your kids and dogs. What a disappointment
