Le Raj Indian Restaurant in North Ayrshire

Both dishes the exact same. Ordered 2 different dishes. Both dishes were bland with little to no flavour Added the lamb tikka dish to both meals. Both meals had stewed lamb.Plain nan was dry. The peshwari nan tasted sour and not sweet as it should.Called up the restaurant and was told the food tasted fine as he should know as he cooked it. Said they were out of lamb tikka so gave lamb as they are both the same thing. Lamb tikka is cooked differently in herbs and spices and is certainly not the same as just lamb hense why they charge more to opt for lamb tikka.At first refused to do anything. When I said I was reporting it to just eat they said they would be round immediately to collect it and then I should report it to just eat. I told them I would put the food in the fridge and they could have it when I received a refund.He continued to threaten to come to my door and take the food. I told him the door would not be answered.It is now clear that they know just eat asks the customer to provide photo evidence of the food in the refund process and wanted to get the food back so that I could not complete the review process.I have been sick and my stomach is in a lot of pain. I believe this is from the peshwari nan as my mum had the plain nan and has not been sick.They clearly deliberately tried to prevent me from issuing a complaint to just eat so that they could keep the money paid.They are clearly not following food and hygiene standards for there food to make someone ill. Do not order from here you will be putting your health at risk.They are Dirty Manky Scamming Thieves

Le Raj in shop baked pizzas are absolutely delicious and very swift delivery I definitely recommend that you try this takeaway when you're hungry and don't want to cook. Very fairly priced ...Update February 2022 still great takeaway wither pickup or delivery always hot enough and freshly made 😋.

Le raj take away serves the finest curry, nan bread as if cooked in front of you, food always tasty and fresh, love my treat from here, meal deal for two excellent value

I drive a truck all over the UK & visit lots of takeaways & up in Irvine for the night in 1st ever visit to this takeaway ordered a mixed calzone pizza & a Donna kebab the lad who cooked my pizza says that I would enjoy my pizza & that is a big Yip writing this as eating it this is very nice same with my kebab which most of the time I am left disappointed with Donna kebabs but that is due to my personal taste but can give this 1 a big thumbs up so would like to say thank you for a very enjoyable meal done very well

Meal was delivered very fast but when it arrived the meal was out the box ( as if it had been upside down during delivery) there was plenty of meat but hardly any chips also meal came with 2 tubs of pakora sauce but each tub only had very small small amount in each one and nan bread was very small aswell this was our first time using this place we will never use it again and to me meal wasn't edible ( just my opinion) waste of £20

Ordered chicken pakora- never again, 30mins late. It was tough reheated chicken- probably cooked twice!!, with I thin pakora coating.

Food was good but I didn't get any lamb in my mixed kebab as stated on foodhub, the mixed kebab was made up of loads of donner meat and 4 tiny bits of chicken and no lamb or salad for that matter for some reason even though that's what was ordered, probably won't use again which is a shame since the food was of good standard.
