It was beautiful. I was very hungry and it didn't half hit the spot. Beautifully cooked and lovely staff to serve you. Really good value for money. I would highly recommend this place. Very well done 👍👍👍

I use mamma's anytime I'm having a chippy, never a complaint but today I got a sausage supper and the sausages were half the size as usual. Tasted great but still hungry 😕

way too expensive nowadays and the food has been mediocre at best the last 2 deliveries. chips were lukewarm as were the fritters. nice fish though but thats not enough for it to be considered when we feel like a chippy

I have lived in Irvine for nearly 8 n this chip shop is still by far the best in town . Have tried other places n couple were good n value for money but mamas is still miles ahead

Mamma's has always been nice. I have nothing but good things to say about Mamma's. Ordered a special fish supper and 3 pickles. Perfect service. Girls are very pleasant. 10 out of 10 all round.

I ordered a meal at 19.05, it came over an hour later, and it was frozen. When I called to complain about my wasted dinner, they would not answer the phone. Mamma's used to be the best chippy in the town, but they have seriously let standards slip. This is not the first time something like this has happened. About a month ago, my single black pudding was missing, and yet again, the restaurant was unavailable for comment. This is the last time I'll be ordering from there.

Food is good no problems with that, except maybe the smoked sausage.... what's with the batter? They have put their prices through the roof and portion sizes reduced. I understand cost go up etc, but not at the rate their prices have.
