Riverside Bar & Grill in North Ayrshire

Recently stayed at the Riverside Lodge in the Riverside Suite and what a fantastic experience my wife and I had. Upon arrival to the hotel the staff were really friendly. The room was out of this world. So spacious and modern. The jacuzzi bath was amazing and it was great just to feel relaxed. We had some dinner at the hotel which we both really enjoyed. We found the bar to be reasonably priced for a hotel as some hotels overcharge. In the morning we also had breakfast at the hotel which we had plenty of options to choose from the buffet style breakfast. Hope to stay again soon.

Spent 2 nights at this lovely hotel as we were attending a wedding reception in their function suite.On arrival we walked into a beautiful reception area where we were greeted by a lovely friendly and helpful receptionist.The room was spotless and roomy and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of tea, coffee and toiletry supplies in the room.Breakfasts were plentiful and lots of choice although I was disappointed there was no Lorne square sausage available.Had lunch there one afternoon and found the portions a decent size and very tasty.The housekeeping staff were lovely, very friendly, making you feel welcome.This hotel is in an ideal area for visiting the lovely coast.All in all I would definitely visit this hotel again as I found it good value, and one of the friendliest hotels I’ve stayed in.

Decent enough. Took my mum and dad there for dinner last night.I would point out that the online menu is completely different from the actual menu in the hotel.Seated quickly, drinks arrived promptly. All enjoyed the starters and were given a small break between the main coming out. We all had ordered a different main and all 3 of us enjoyed what we had ordered. And the waitress checked back every now and again to make sure we were enjoying our food and to see if we required anything else to drink.If anything maybe just a tad expensive for what it was. But I suppose everything has shot up in price just now.Will def be taking them back at some point.

Was in the restaurant yesterday for lunch yesterday with my daughter to use a £50 gift card we where given from the end of last year after a bad experience. The food and service was excellent but upon paying with the card the manager/supervisor on shift informed me that what was on the card wasn't what it should be. She dealt with the professionally and we left happy with a excellent feed.will 100% be back again.

Stunning hotel!! From reception area, through lounge/ communal area. Beautifully stylish decor. Very well laid out. Modern, stylish, clean, welcoming Staff excellent. Had booked an overnight stay with dinner & breakfast included wish we had booked for 2 nights.Looking forward to visiting again.😁😁

Staff work really hard and are very helpful. We had quite a few of us staying on site for business and used some break out rooms. The evening menu was very good, a nice selection and well prepared meals. Just save room for desert, they are lovely

Just arrived. Found everything amazing so far. Large fresh rooms. Bath and shower available. All amenities in room including ironing board, hairdryer etc. Big wardrobe. Beds so comfy and big. Meal in restaurant later and breakfast included. Fantastic value. There is even a pool with live fish of all sizes. Afternoon tea looks good may try that tomorrow. We are here for 2 nights.

We had a overnight stay with breakfast and late check out.The hotel is very clean staff are very friendly and very helpful.The food is really good We have also had dinner the last time we cameWe have been here twice now and looking forward to coming back again and again

Stunning hotel!! From reception area, through lounge/ communal area. Beautifully stylish decor. Very well laid out. Modern, stylish, clean, welcoming . Staff excellent, even when under pressure with table service ( still operating under restrictions during our stay) we stayed in a newly refurbished room, with great garden views. Only 2 small points of negative opinion.1) Radiator in room not working, using storage type heaters ,and2) We both chose the burger on main meal menu, and in my opinion it was of pretty poor quality. We also had the optional haggis with it, which was equally poor.We do feel that on viewing other diners food and based on our starter and dessert, we just made the wrong choiceI would definitely return and would absolutely recommend.

Value for money excellent.Food was excellent.Rooms were decent, everything you need, tea, coffee kettle etc. Ironing board and iron. Only criticism is there was dust in light that has obviously been there a while, same in hallway. These are 5 minute fixes, just general housekeeping. Reception and restaurant are very nice. All in all I would use again. Probably a 3 star, not 4
