Superb takeaway, Its our go to Chinese. We always aim to try something different from the menu every time we order and have never been let down.

Used for the 1st time a few weeks ago after being recommended, no need to try others my wife & I will stick with this one. Food spot on. Top marks

Absolutely fabulous, tasty food. After trying all the Chinese takeaway's in Largs, we settled on Shanghai and can testify to the excellent quality of their food. It always arrives on time as promised, piping hot and tasty. Lovely staff. Like most people, my wife & I have spent decades sticking to the same tried and tested dishes. The Shanghai has inspired us to experiment with other tastes, today the Chef's special Mushroom Surprise and Kung Po, both dishes were a revelation, absolutely delicious! Really has reawakened our joy of Chinese cuisine. Already looking forward to our next meal. Keep doing what your doing guys, we really appreciate and love your food and service.

Absolutely out of this world. The portion size is amazing. Amazing value for money. I would highly recommend shanghai !!!. We got a delivery and it arrived fast and still piping hot. This place is my new go to every time I come to largs. Well done guys and gals

One of three Chinese takeaways in Largs. Due to Covid, you have to wait outside for your order. I suggest ordering by phone first and just pick up. The 2x pancake rolls are big and tasty.

After reading some of the reviews, we decided on the Shanghai for our first meal in Largs, and soon wished we hadn't. I got the mixed vegetable curry with fried rice, and for the first time ever, I had to season a takeaway! It was tasteless, runny, with very little vegetables, and after a few forkfuls I had to bin it. My partner said his meal was just as poor.

Best place in town for Chinese food easily. I'm very fussy and these guys hit the nail on the head everytime. Also very kind to my family. keep it up 👏 they dont ruin food with too much salt either. I'm fussy with meat and eat the chicken satay no problem i havent even recieve my food yet and this is the comment I leave 💚.

Sorry not impressed! Bean sprouts more like fine noodles in chow mein, spring rolls with nothing in! Thank god the curry sauce hid the taste. Young lady very pleasant, and the place is clean, but sorry not for me.
