Speed Chinese in North Ayrshire

Food was good. Fast. Big trys of rice will be back. Open late it the only one after 10

What an awful experience tonight with Speeds chinese tonight, we spent £68 and the quality of the food was awful. Salt and pepper chicken with no seasoning and weird, pinky/translucent chicken. 3 portions of salt and pepper chips that were inedible, they also had no seasoning and looked like they had been reheated. Chicken satay skewers that were overcooked and had no satay sauce. When we called up the woman on the other end wouldn't send out a satay sauce as "the kitchen said there was one sent out" there clearly wasn't, she said she'd "had the food before and in her opinion it was fine". Just awful food and awful customer service. Needless to say we won't be using them again.

Ordered chicken satay last night, it was awful. Chicken (if it was chicken) was covered in batter and the texture and taste was terrible, definitely not from breast of chicken nor freshly cooked. End result the bin got most of the meal and what's left has went into the toilet this morning!

Ordered for the first time on Easter sunday.Absolutely gorgeous food. We had a mix of curries, chow mein and more. First class delivery.

Quite possibly the worst Chinese I've ever had. Salt and chilli shredded chicken wasnt shredded and tasted horrible. Delivery driver wasn't very nice, she went to my old address and then accused me of putting my old address in when I didnt as I used a new Foodhub account and I havent lived at my old address for 18 months. She wouldn't accept that it was the restaurant that had obviously taken my name and used my old address from a previous order. Wont be ordering again.

Ordered a chicken fried rice with light gravy but got egg fried rice with some chicken on top with some gravy not even enough gravy for the amount of rice to to gravy is terrible plus it came very eary was meant to take abt 40 mins but turned up within 20 mins probs because all they had to do was fry some rice n chicken not good as children fried rice is meant to ham peas throughout but just rice for £9 a very disappointed client

Got the salt and pepper Munchie box for £12 really disappointed won't be getting it again not worth the moneyWould've been better of getting ribs ,chicken balls ,chips and curry sauce separate for an extra £2

Made a large order and told 30mins as they're mobbed so sat in the car outside and in 10mins the lady brought it all out which was great and food was spot on again

Oh the banter! This wee place is open late and when the pub empties and you're hungry, they are open. That's worth 4 stars. Whatever I order (it generally involves chips) I enjoy it. Not giving a 5 as never eaten their food 100% sober 😆

Ordered sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style and there was practically no extra sauce in the tub to put over the rice making the dish very dry yet if you order with veg the tub is full reminded them last time seems no one listens not happy
