Taj Mahal in North Ayrshire

Normally our go to for a takeaway, but tonight we ordered through the website and after a hour and a half no food turned up. Gave them a phone to be told they didn't have our order even though we had email confirmation and order number and also took the payment from our bank. They couldn't care less and didn't try to resolve the issue just said we will refund you so now no food and will have to wait 3/5 days for a refund. You have just lost a good customer will never order again.

I used to always love Taj Mahal’s pizzas but recently they have went really down hill. Just ordered one tonight and it just tasted of pure salt, no flavour. So disappointed, used to make the best pizzas about.

First time trying this place and we were not very impressed, food was cold after waiting 50 mins for delivery, not the nicest food we have ever tastied, wouldnt rush back and definitely not worth thr money

Ordered over phone. Was given a 15 minutes estimate of order being ready. Spot on. My order was ready as sokn as I'd driven over to Dreghorn. My 14 year old had a 12 " pizza. He demolished it. My 12 year old had the chicken chaat and garlic nan.it was very nicely presented wrapped in tin foil to keep warm. He devoured it. I had a donner kebab which I've not had in years and it was perfect. Meat succulent. Sauce delicious and salad and pitta perfect. Absolutely delighted with the food, service and price.

Took a notion for pub grub and this place hit the spot. The plates are very generous and the food is delicious. I always need to take half my meal home. Never had a bad meal yet. The staff are lovely and other diners are chatty and friendly. Love that I can take my kids and the dog if I want. Great way to end a walk along the beach

Foods great but the guys that work there need to be more friendly/polite all you get out them is how much you owe them and they all look like they hate you

So desperately disappointed. Smells great but one dish looked so bad we didn't even plate it up. Massive portions for sure and well done on that but I'd prefer a smaller portions properly cooked (despite all the tin foil). One order was wrong and we never even liked what we had enough to go back to get it corrected. One star is generous today!!
