Having just reopened for food they now have a new chef in place. I had the haddock, real chips, peas and salad. Generous portion fairly priced. Served by the vivacious Alana who deservedly received a red rose ( valentines day ) from a smooth senior citizen. If you haven't been before or not visited for a while then give it a visit

Visited a friend in Dalry today. We had lunch here. It was outstanding. Beautiful stone steps with a very imaginative bookshelf. Lovely food. Great hospitality. 5 stars. Had a lovely day and look forward to returning.Kimby from Hamilton

We had a family lunch for 9 people today and it was very disappointing. They only had ONE can of diet coke in the pub!!!!!and a very limited choice of soft drinks. It took over an hour for the first course and the main course took a while also. Food was ok but the lack of basic things like diet coke, salad cream and fish means that our next family lunch won't be at The Auld Hoose

Had a lovely meal here today and it couldn't have been better. Large portions. Compliments to the new chef. We'll be back.

Ordered a panini and was given a toasted hot dog roll from a panini toaster.They offer an outdoor area to eat but when entering I was told they had just sprayed the place with weed killer so my kids had to sit at the table - Is it just me or should these things be done outside the height of summer.Don't think I'll be back unless I have no kids and it's raining

Food was excellent and well priced for the portions , staff were a good laugh and very welcoming , would highly recommend

Staff are fantastic great Mesls good atmosphere and they play live Music great night out

First time here. Food was absolutely Fantastic. Portions were HUGE. Staff friendly and professional. Beautifully decorated..A wee Gem of a place.
