Nice decor and staff but small portions. I ordered cod with mashed potatoes and seasonal veg and although the fish was lovely, the season veg ended up being 4 pieces of tiny carrot, 3 thin slices of courgette and one tiny branch of a floret of broccoli! Really pathetic and I was embarrassed to have to ask for a side portion of more veg, which when they brought it was worse than the other portion. I didn't dare order a desert incase it was only 2 teaspoons worth!

Really nice bistro service was good, very efficient staff and the food was really tasty I had beef burritos and for a lunchtime snack was more than enough, would recommend and hope to revisit in the future.

Food was reasonable but the Nan was like a brick and not at all pleasant - I wondered if there had been a microwave involved. However, the service was good and the atmosphere convivial. Plenty of parking.

Pleasant place for a meal but I have to say I would not recommend the chilli beef. Meat was very sinewy and tough. Other meals purchased for our group were great and appetising. Prices ressonable too.

Had an amazing experience on my visit to Duncan's restaurant today with my sister (Mary Howden). We were seated on a low level table and chairs which I really appreciated because I have MS . The seating was perfect, the brilliant view from the window was amazing and the brilliant service we received from Collette and Jane was outstanding. Our whole visit was just amazing and we will return with gratitude.Liz Crozier

Wonderful meal and vibe. Had an awesome time at Duncans. Great service and as we were there on. Tuesday, it was 1/3 off teh whole cost. Recommended.

Good food served up by friendly staff. It got fairly busy while we were in for lunch but service was kept timely. A good variety of menu items to choose from. A good lunch.

We have had meals and drinks here for years. At the moment there are very good Covid restriction mitigations in place. Whether you want coffee with a scone or a full meal, Duncan's is well worth a visit.

They don't have a big menu but we enjoyed our foods. Desserts were also delicious and staff were very friendly. They cleaned tables after each customer and tabels laid out well for social distancing.
