The Harbour Lodge in North Ayrshire

7 of us out for New Year Family Dinner. Absolutely well worth the money. And as always great cooking from Johnny and family also great service from waitresses and of course Terry. 10 out of 10 again. Thanks for a lovely meal

We go at lunch time and it's worth every penny always busy.I just love the chicken soup.Sweet and sour vegetables all very good. Worth every penny friendly staff

This place is sadly not what it could be . Placed a take away order and sat in entrance hall which is needing a good deep clean , finger prints on glass on entrance door to restaurant a month thick . Food very poorly cooked , the wok used had not been wiped of burnt oil so our food tasted of burnt wok . The sweet and sour sauce was so burnt it was discoloured and inedible , why the chef didn’t notice / care is beyond ......1 star for service which was pleasant enough , get a new chef and some cleaners .

Nice food and good prices. Not a huge menu but we'll worth it for what you are paying. Would recommend.

Great food. Place needs money spent on it. Toilets are a bit grubby. Good is excellent though.

Would not return here . Had the worse Chicken chow mein. It was a bed of noodles, with a layer of boiled ( not drained properly ) bean sprouts, and then a sprinkling of cheap chicken.Staff also weren't very friendly and the place was freezing.

Had a lovely chicken breast curry with fried rice and salt n chilli chips. Was the 1st time for me going there. I will be back. Nice pint of T L . 👏✌

Food wasnt that great and my crab starter looked like a plate of gunge. Walls looked dirty and staff were quite dour and the restaurant was cold also so don't think I'll come back again.

This is a great Chinese restaurant. For all that the building on the outside maybe isn't looking it's best at the moment, the restaurant inside is worth a visit if you are looking for a Chinese to eat out at. The food, service and decor within were really good.

Owned by Johhny Ho The Harbour Lodge is the best chinese restaurant in Ayrshire. I would highly recommend this venue for their Restaurant, Take Away & Private Function Suite upstairs.Fabulous venue with a well stocked large bar and outdoor seating area with stunning views overlooking the Clyde onto Millport.The staff are always very polite, friendly and happy to help. I've been a fan of The Harbour Lodge for over 15 years and if your new to Ayrshire or have never tried it I highly recommend doing so.
