The chicken and leak pie was a pie, puff pastry top and bottom. Chips were slightly under cooked. Sausage egg and chips very good the sausage was very tasty. Friendly staff, clean premises and toilets. Tables disinfected between customers. Basic menu with usual café favourites.

I have a serious wheat allergy and it was lovely to go to a cafe where my needs were understood so well, and my cheesecake was excellent!Simon

My wife is coeliac and we have been here several times over the last 4 years without any issue and the food has been excellent. We call the day before to pre order as requested by the team so that they can prepare the order early in the day outside service hours. Yesterday I called to book as usual , as her parents ( one of whom is also coeliac ) were here on holiday , to be told bluntly that they were too busy to " do anything like that" and promptly put the phone down on me. Not sure what's happened since our previous visit but turns out it was our last !

Tasty lemon drizzle cake and yummy victoria sandwich (apparently 😁). Nice to be served hot hot drinks as well👍 Definitely recommended for a refreshment break whilst visiting Keswick.

Took a table outside, told the staff where we were. 15 minutes later, no one had even been to take an order. Meanwhile 3 more couples had sat at outside tables also. Could see people arriving after us but seated inside getting served. Terrible service. Left disgruntled without having so much of a coffee.

Nice tea rooms. Outside tables too cramp for more than 2 people sitting. Very nice homemade (I hope) cakes!

We visited The Honey Pot for lunch by chance and were greeted by a young, unenthusiastic girl who didn't seem very happy today. However, we were served by another, very happy and helpful lady who took our order and recommended a lovely sandwich to try, which was lovely. Everyone else was helpful and friendly and it felt very safe, even with the restrictions being lifted. Would highly recommend this place as the food was lovely and reasonably priced.

We stopped in for a quick lunch on a roasting hot day (29*C). We immediately asked for tap water and, after a lot of back and forth with the waitress trying to push bottled still water on us (maybe she is paid commission?), we were brought two of the smallest glasses I've ever seen... Half full.I'm not entirely sure what 'atmosphere' other reviewers were referring to. We found the cafe had an ambience akin to a nursing home. The oppressive silence forced us into barely a whisper as we planned our escape. We seized a humorously premature 'are you ready to order?' as our reason to leave and didn't look back.2/5 due to its proximity to other places to eat.

In for lunch a short while ago. The food was actually nice although I ordered a cheese and tomato toastie and got a cheese and ham but as I like ham too decided to eat and not make a fuss. However my husband's tea wasn't very hot and he asked for some hot water. The owner brought it out then asked very loudly so everyone could hear if he was sure he had everything he needed now so they didn't have to come out again. I was very embarrassed. This is not good customer service. Before I left I had a word with one of the employees about the owners behaviour and she apologized. I will never eat there again and the owner should be ashamed of herself.

This place is amazing. The food quality is outstanding and it has a lovely, cosy atmosphere. The food was fantastically seasoned and everything had a unique flavour! I would 100% recommend this to anyone! Have a lovely meal!
