The Melbourne in North Ayrshire

Fairly new to this wee gem of a cafe but really like it, great selection of food and really nice staff

Nice cafe, was a walk down memory lane for me. Rolls just the same as they were 40 years ago. Very nice.

Wow, the Melbourne cafe is a great cafe. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Saltcoats to visit. The food is out of this world, and the staff are just beautiful people. Keep up the great work folks. Kind regards. Paul

Nostalgic visit with my younger son to the cafe I spent some of my teenage years in. Felt good to be back and thoroughly enjoyed the coffee and cake as well as a good look through the Melbourne music chart, happy days

Best cafe ever! I went in everyday until I moved from North Ayrshire, great food and great cafe!

The Melbourne Cafe was recommended to me and I decided to check it out.Lovely place with a great menu and friendly staff. The food came quickly and was delicious!

Good wee place tbh, milkshakes are actually very good tbh. Food is decent.Absolutely love the building. Stunningly designed tbf. Good local place sif you're in saltcoats

This is trip down memory lane to a cafe that has been there for decades. Pleasant interior and helpfull staff, wheel chair friendly and a menu covering full main meals to a cup of coffee. Relaxed atmosphere and dog friendly. Old fashioned yet modern, a must visit in Saltcoats.

Food came out straight away no cutlery, napkins no condiments not even an smile.Took over 20mins for drinks to arrive had to chase up. Not worth the money. Empty tables not cleared or cleaned and I was there for over an hour. Would I go back NO not worth the money and no friendly atmosphere!!!

Just not the same as it used to be at all. Wait times for collection aren't being managed Staff tell you 15 mins for collection and 40 minutes later still waiting for a microwaved soup .....another lady outside the place with young children also waiting ridiculous times. People won't mind the wait if the expectation of waiting is set.
