The Niche Restuarant in North Ayrshire

Spectacular food & such cheerful, friendly, & accommodating staff!We visited here 4 times over 1 weekend the service, cocktails & dishes were so good!Thank you for looking after us fussy fishies! 🙏🧜‍♀️

So good we went twice while we were away for a wee break at a nearby hotel! Food is gorgeous, big portions & plenty to choose from. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant itself is so cosy and cute! Will be visiting again in the future!

Absolutely fabulous meal in really ambient surroundings. Service was very good and portions were ample. Very reasonable and good value for money. Can't wait to come back!

Popped by Niche for the first time last week, so good we returned a week later - food was amazing, so tasty, full of flavour and freshly made - can't fault it. The chicken teriyaki noodles and curry dishes were delicious - kids meals not an afterthought like other places can be. Topped off by amazing chocolate fudge cake, fab service, friendly staff and nice surroundings. A hidden gem 👌

Reserved table as recommended. The waitress who greeted us ( if you could call it that) looked as if she had something better to do. The table she pointed too was small far too close to the next table, not adequate at all. Asked if their was another table she then continued to tell us that their was no other table as a wee old lady comes in and always has the table in the corner! Attitude was absolutely not acceptableordered tagliatelle, vegetable, I would not recommend it, broccoli stalks & too much tomato paste,left after 20 mins, never again.

Had excellent service at The Niche today. Was quickly assigned to my seat as I walked in. The waitress was lovely and checked on us throughout our stay. She even offered us a special taste of a new cocktail they were trialing. What a lovely surprise. Unfortunately we could not taste it as we were driving but I would certainly recommend others visit for the great service.Best sweet to eat on the menu - stacked pancakes. Yum

Went in here on Monday after going for a walk along the beach front. When entering the first thing to hit you is the ambient atmosphere then the welcoming heat. After looking at the menu I opted for the Chicken Satay chow mein while my partner chose the macaroni cheese. I must say I chose well as the dish was absolutely superb in taste and portion size and at £11.45 really good value for money. The macaroni I could tell was also really tasty and piping hot with the noises coming from her mouth. All in all I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice looking restaurant, great food and lovely staff.

Lovely meal, restaurant and service. Nice to go somewhere that give the extra little touches and lovely atmosphere.

If it’s about great customer service, then head on over to The Niche in Irvine. Great food, atmosphere and a fab friendly staff. It’s not too big so you ought to book in advance, but the tables are well spaced so there is a level of intimate dining to be had. It’s not too expensive and the open kitchen environment sends a message of fresh cooking to order. Plenty of on street and off street parking and after your meal you can wander along the quaint harbour side. I thoroughly recommend a visit.
