One of the better Weatherspoons. Situated on the seafront close to the ferry terminal. Nice log fire situated in the middle of the restaurant, when it's on it creates a nice and cosy place for something to eat and drink. Staff are friendly and very polite. Food is well presented and not overdone like some other restaurants in the chain. Good atmosphere and is usually busy, but we always manage to get seated. Would recommend this restaurant without hesitation, as it has been consistently good and quick service any time we have visited here.

Can't put any stars. Asked for table to be cleared and cleaned twice. When ordering food at bar reminded them again about table not cleaned. Food was burned and cold, returned it. They still hadn't cleaned table. No explanation no food and no offer of refund. Have photos. Wouldn't let me post unless I put a star on.

Just popped in for a coffee & toilet stop whilst waiting for the ferry to Cumbrae but you cannot beat the value for money, clean toilets and on this case the location next to the ferry 😊

Great place to eat, drink and meet friends and watch the world go by. Opposite the ferry terminal to Arran, with great views of the coast line. Can be very busy at times but if you have the Wetherspoons app it's a good queue jumper and you get served quicker. Great selection of food and drinks all set in a good atmosphere and comfy setting. Also a good place for groups to meet. Limited seating outside

Lovely spot by the sea with some beautiful views of the sea. Fast, friendly and welcoming service with good quality food, as you would expect. The alcohic drinks were cheap, compared to other establishmensts, and with free, easy to access wifi it's easy to keep the kids entertained. Well recommended amd would return in the future

Brilliant Pub food and drinks with view of the sea and ferry ....... watch the sun go down from the conservatory seating area. Stunning experience.

·

Lovely location. Spoiled by cramped seating arrangements. Order of five meals mixed up. Leaving a child without food for 15 minutes. Other group members were finished before her meal came. Not impressed by meal sizes either. After two courses whole group left hungry. Not be visiting again.

Usual Spoons experience, good atmosphere at this location, there is outdoor seating behind a glass screen overlooking views to the ferry & out to sea along the coast, nice spot to enjoy the sunset. Can be very busy on holiday weekends & peak times, staff can be stretched trying to cope. Food & drink all good may be a wait at certain busy times.

Usual standard Wetherspoon pub. Well done out inside and great view of the sea and ferry port. Ideal spot on the sea front. Food and drinks were nice. Comfortable place.

One of the better wetherspoon's as the food was really good.Staff were pleasant and helpful.Reason for the one star is the doorman as after spending over 50 pounds we went out the wrong door. When we tried to enter again through the correct door so my friend could use the toilet we were not allowed admission. This was a total disgrace and should never have been allowed to happen. It would have been a different matter if we hadn't paid, quite sure they would have let us back in then!
