With an unrivalled coastal location, and views stretching for miles, the chefs at Trump Turnberry take inspiration from the land and sea surrounding the resort to produce the dishes found on the 1906 menu. There are few places where food, wine and location come together as beautifully as 1906, where the philosophy of “progress in harmony with the past” is taken to heart. Working closely with local suppliers, the Trump Turnberry chef’s have created the indigenous 1906 menu using a medley of seasonal, Scottish ingredients. Each dish featured is a classic, that would be instantly recognisable to any one of our guests over the past hundred years."

Menu Impressions9/10 - Kids menu is creative but well-optimised for children. Main menu has tasteful and unique dishes but perhaps more variation required.Service and Atmosphere9/10 - As consistent with the rest of the hotel, the service is absolutely amazing - very personalised, friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is refined and a nice crowd level maintained.Starter = Prawn Cocktail9/10 - Good amount of sauce, nice taste and well balanced with salad na delicious prawns too.Main Course = Steak Diane10/10 - Amazing, unique sauce, cooked to perfected, done in front of table. Great, tender flavour, to absolute perfectionDessert = Sundae & Cheese Board10/10 - The sundae is a very nice and sweet kids creation - very nice balance, tasty ice cream, overall very good. Cheeses lovely too, well presented and explained.Overall total mark: 47/50 (*****) 94%General Comments1906 is a fantastic fine dining location, with a unique and delicious menu, phenomenal service, and a luxury setting. This restaurant is yet ANOTHER credit to this sensational Trump Turnberry Hotel. Another excuse for us to return very soon, as I’m sure is the case with many other diners here.
