Room was warm and dirty windows did not open badly needing uplift. Breakfast was good beer garden nice

Well, normally stay at the marine hotel in Troon, book the Anchorage hotel as the marine was fully booked, and I’m not disappointed at all. Nachos order as a starter, asked for extra cheese and sour cream, and WOW, best Iv ever had. Ordered the rib eye steak, and again, well impressed. All the staff are happy, and attentive. And pudding has just turned up, and wow again looks great.

My husband and I went here for a couple of days as it was our anniversary. The room we were given was very small. The bed was comfortable. There was toiletries left in the shower from a previous guest. The young lad that was in the dining room yesterday was very friendly but the girl that was in dining room this morning looked like she wanted to be else where. The view from our room was a building yard. At £90a night u would expect something much betterbe elsewhere

Old and the rooms are definitely tired. Broken furniture and windows were too dangerous to open in the room. Not withstanding we really enjoyed our visit. You get what you pay for and it was cheap as chips. Couldn't commend the food or the staff highly enough. Some of the views on pictures. Great for beach which is just across the road and a lot quieter than the main beach at town centre. I would definitely recommend it for a cheap and chearful weekend away
