A bit disappointed, on arrival at the hotel we could not get in, we called the number displayed which went to an answering machine; luckily we were meeting friends at this establishment and managed to get shelter. It was not until around 6 pm before we managed to get in touch with the owner to gain access to the room. The first thing was the size of the room, having paid top premium we did expect more, the loo had a very small shower cabinet and sink. Our friend’s room was about the same size with a bath and shower yet cost significantly less. "well done them" The room needed a good clean for example, light bulbs, picture frames and sockets had a coating of dust; the elaborate bed canopy had dust in the pleated fabric which was not pleasant considering you are lying beneath this at night. Getting to and from the room was up a flight of outside stairs which being covered in “AstroTurf” is a bit scary, as it was wet we were worried we may fall. Breakfast was fine and delivered to the room. Is this owner running this place on her own? Who knows! and if so i feel for her. Lastly did not sleep too well as the local Seagulls were having a sign song from around 4.30 am directly above us. The word hotel is in this case misused; this establishment is nothing more than an extravagant and in our case expensive B&B.

Fabulous accommodation here so comfortable and stylish. Rooms have their own entrance so you can come and go at anytime. Breakfast brought to your room in the morning and owners so lovely. Would definetly stay again.

I cheeked in at 3 , I got a great sleep, got a big healthy breakfast which was lovely, would highly recommend and would stay again .

Would highly recomend this fabulous hotel.Staff were very helpful and accomodating as i had selected the wrong date when making my booking !! Showed up at the hotel and they gave us a gorgeous room. The room was spotless and the experience was lovely . The breakfast was also lovely the next morning too.Loved it so much going back in 3 weeks to stay again. If your looking for a lovely relaxing experience and top class staff definately stay here.

Stayed here for 2 nights very stylish room and beautiful garden for relaxing in food was great and reasonably priced with pleasant staff

I have been for both dinner and lunch here and both times I felt the service could have been better. The decor and features of the hotel are stunning although a bit Bet Lynch!! With this standard of setting I would expect the food and service to be of a much higher standard? The last time I had lunch I enquired as to whether there was a dog on the premises due to the foul smell of wet dog. The answer given was "not today!!!" Why would the owner bring their three labroders into a restaurant??? This is very off putting and as I have an allergie to dogs I will not be back. This is very upsetting as I would probably visit frequently had this not happened.
