The Ayr branch, in common with all the other TK Max stores I've been in over the past three years or so, has drastically reduced the range of men's footwear it offers. Previously it was worth popping in on a weekly basis to see what was new and while in, a browse through the rest of the store would often result in a purchase. A reduction in reasons to step through the doors means fewer of the impulse purchases that made up a significant share of their business. Get your shoes sorted and footfall will increase throughout the store.

Plenty parking. Spacious shop. Cafe. Toilets. Well laid out and signed. Staff friendly. Love this shop!

Always a great choice of items although not all sizes are available in their clothing section.Prices are lower than the original prices so you can easily find a bargain.This store also has a cafe for coffee and cake.I would have given 5 stars but they are still using plastic bags.

Excellent value, store was really clean and no clutter, staff where welcoming and helpful, well done to max, prices well to be honest they are excellent, certainly bargains to be had without a doubt.

It's been a bit of a shame with this store. It used to be excellent a few years ago, now you go in and a lot of the stuff is stock I saw in other stores in 2019... This is 2021 writing this review. Not to mention a lot of the clothing looks like it needs cleaned or at the very least, ironed. Glasgow City Centre's store is just as bad. The store over in Dumfries is a lot better, but not great. Something definitely needs done about the customers just using products, evidenced by the number of opened and used items lying in the item bins around the store.

When you are looking for something, you can't get anywhere, you will find it here. Great quality items at reasonable prices, and I love their jewellery! Bought a beautiful Swavorski crystal bracelet,great price!
