After walking around on a sunny day to find somewhere to sit outside with a drink popped into this place. Typical local, very friendly staff and surprising large beer garden. Will be back.Ps- good place for plane spotters!

First time in troon for a day out . Very friendly staff . . Made to feel welcome . .owner came from behind the bar and spoke to us for 10 mins . Wee local boozer . Would go back. Reasonable priced drinks 😀

Had the most delicious macaroni and cheese, served with chips and garlic bread in this very welcoming pub today. Definitely glad their kitchens have opened again as sadly the whole pub was shut the last time we visited.

Welcoming staff, clean and tidy bar with good beer. Best and Guinness for us. Popular with locals which was good to see. We were in Troon for the Winterstorm rock weekend festival. Next year will be our 4th time. TROON ROCKS, see you next year McKays.

Just had lunch at McKays after a recommendation, staff were amazing so friendly, welcoming and attentive. Service was impeccable, ordered some food, and even though it was busy it was served in good time. Presentation was spot on, food tasted great, portions spot on. Can’t wait to come back. Keep up the great work guys and don’t change.
