While this is a very nice store I would warn people to look closely at plants before taking them home and by "look closely" I mean walk your plant out in the natural sun and check it. I recently purchased 2 mint plants, 1 cucumber, 1 tomato and some carrots. All looked good in the store with no signs of fungus or other plant diseases... well I did the gardener do not 101 and put new plants next to my established plants and the cucumber along with the apple mint were eaten up with white mildew and now my green beans are infected, my strawberry plant is infected, my sage plant and my basil.

Love the place. Very helpful staff. Little bit pricy at the restaurant but the food is nice. Wide range of plants and fertilisers. Sitting area at the restaurant is a conservatory you can see plants and little play area for children.

Spent a lovely morning browsing all the indoor and outdoor plants. Wide variety to choose from. Friendly and helpful staff.Had scones (vegan option) and oat milk cappuccino...so they do cater for vegans. Nice restaurant that is dog friendly. Well worth a visit.

Good deal on hanging baskets, but when staff pick up cakes by hand with no gloves in the café because the tongs are dirty with cream, then no sorry its not acceptable, never mind during a pandemic.

Some food not available, and different from menu boards. Asked for salad with my meal was told the lasagne came with it, was not on the plate when the meal arrived, staff appeared indifferent. Lots of prices not on items. Disappointing experience.

Went to visit the fish part. I cannot praise the young man who dealt with us enough, he spent so long with us answering all our questions and not once did we feel rushed or that we were wasting his time. If you need advice about setting up a fish tank go and talk to Andi.

Visiting is wonderful, as there's a large variety of plants, gifts, books, and ask other treasures to explore. And .. there's a café with good food and hot drinks to have a nice break during your stroll through the shop! Enjoy!

Lovely garden centre, good selection of both indoor and outdoor plants.Other departments make it a destination to enjoy even if gardening isn't your thing! The cafe serves lovely food too.Toilets are a let down though and could do with some investment.

Nice clean and well presented. Wheelchair access and Parking. Child friendly also dog friendly too. It has all the usual trappings of a modern Garden Centre. All types of gardening accessories,🌻🌳⚘🌴 plants and Garden D.I.Y projects. They also boast a very impressive aquarium 🐠🐟🐡🐚🦂🐳🌿, and stock a wide range of supplies for the home tank or sea world. Christmas Trees, lights and all kinds of decorations are out on full display(kid's under 6 will love it, kid's over 6 will just want stuff 😆 especially Mum's).There is also a lovely cafe with plenty of seating and tables. Dog friendly. Plus public toilets. They were respectable on the days we visited.
