Very popular restaurant and bar providing excellent food, great service from fantastic staff. Started collection service during pandemic, has been a godsend during restrictions and busy periods.Update 26 Feb 2022: As restrictions lift, getting busier again. Food is still a great quality and generous portions. Could not recommend one dish over another, all great. Good value.

We have been to Chestnuts a couple of times now and the food has been consistantly good. Coupled with the great ale selection and cosy bar feel, would highly recommend! Finally, just wanted to say how amazing all the staff were with an 18 month old; getting her food out first and all the wee touches to help!

Lovely lunch here on Valentine’s Day with friendly staff and delicious food. Had the Prawns Marie Rose, Seafood Gratin and Fish & Chips along with tea for me and an ale for my husband.

Great food at reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere and spotless. We had 3 excitable children with us and the staff were very kind and patient with them. Would definitely recommend!!
