hotel kylestrome bar and grill restaurant in South Ayrshire

Stayed overnight not great room on main road noise from traffic kept us awake most of night pillows nit great either no drinking glasses in room either food was excellent but afraid woukd nit stay again due to lack of sleep

Staff were attentive and brilliant with timing of kids meals along with adults starters/mains.We had a big group of 10 and were throughly looked after

Was here tonight with family for a birthday and the meal was booked for 6:30, we didn’t actually leave until 9:45 and that was due to poor service, very slow, I ordered a gin fizz which they hadn’t a clue what that was, therefore I had to chose something else, I then ordered a Smirnoff ice to be told that they had none of that, I then ordered a sailor Jerry’s which took them 30 min to tell me that they had none of that either!!. Apparently they were short delivered which yes can happen but the fact we had to wait for that length of time to be told this was not on, one of the waitresses did come back with bottles of Smirnoff ice which she had went out to get from somewhere else which I did appreciate it but it did put a damper on the night. The meal was lovely but the service not so much! There was also 2 meals which were cold and had to be sent back, there was money taken off of the bill to compensate for this but in all honesty I don’t think I’ll be back.

Lovely food and a great place to eat

Had a fantastic meal here, 16 of us for a family birthday. Staff couldn't of been nicer or more helpful, food was delicious and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Will definitely be back. Well done to all the staff who looked after us so well

Could do with more bar staff as one poor girl had to cover the bar make coffee she kept apologising not her fault ,she said someone was on his break . The food was lovely and friendly staff .
