Fantastic food. Pity that the servers (well one in particular) were not accommodating nor as it seems, happy to be serving us.All in all recommended visiting here but don’t expect five star service!

Don't know the take away options in Ayr, rode past on my motorcycle and the aroma made me turn round. Food was excellent.

Visiting the area just for the night. Fancied some Indian food and found here via Google.First impressions, it's a Saturday night and nobody is here. Must be bad!How wrong could I be. Cheerful and friendly waiting staff, food served quickly and the quality was excellent. Not sure why no-one is here, unless the other restaurants in town are better.Price wise, reasonable. Had cheaper, but quality comes at a price. Strongly recommend.

Came down to Ayr for an overnight for Easter decided to book here for our meal walked in and big table of 25-30 people, could hardly hear over the chatter , by time we were having our starters the large.group were having a sing song and being very roudy, my son 11 was getting anxious and didn't want to.eat or be there wasted all his food ate 1 pakora and few fork fulls rice, our 4 years old refused to sit in her own seat part of the meal was.clinging to me she ate a poppadom and refused to.eat dinner.( her dinner should have come out with our starters as I'd requested, I asked where her food was to be told kitchen was too busy, so hers didn't arrive till our mains)This was the most stressful meal we have ever been for .The large group ignored the staff when being asked.to calm.down and 2 of their party even left as they were sick of the noise and disrespectfulness of the rest of them. The food that we (2 adults)did manage to eat 2 starters and then only.made it 1/2 way through our mains was ok but by then we'd had enough of the roudy group and could not wait to leave.Nice family meal out ruined. The staff did apologised to us a few times over the amount of noise and they even struggled to take our drinks & food order over the racket too .Not even offered anything off the cost as a good will gesture as a way of apology for the stressful atmosphere. (They should have billed us 1/2 price and charged the other half to the big group or at least given us 20% off)Probably just thinking of the £££ the big group were spending on food and drink in comparison to the smaller tables.Wish we'd left after the the starters and grabbed a chippy on a park bench on way back to hotel.Ruined our night and no doubt the night of the few.other tables who were not part of the large group.

Quick pick up time after a holiday Friday around Ayr, was a nice surprise. Food was well packed and hot when we got home. Initially we went to the wrong branch for pickup but the staff phoned ahead and checked our order with the other branch who were waiting at the door for our arrival. Friendly, helpful & courteous service.Veg pakora was light & crispy on the outside with lots of fresh moist veg on the inside. First time having yellow (turmeric?) pakora sauce which was a nice: fresh, spicy and picante contrast to the pakora.Special tikka was the best we've had in Ayrshire- large chunks of succulent marrinated, chicken with just a little charcoal flavour on the outside. Tikka pieces are so often dried out, over charred or hidden in too much marinade- this was perfect. The creamy curry sauce that came with the special tikka had an amazing mix & depth of flavour with: sweet tomato, creamy butter, aromatic cardamom, a little heat from chilli and a nice sharp citrus finish.South Indian garlic chilli Lamb had lots of tender flaking lamb chunks in a thick, satisfying onion, garlic & chilli base that tasted fresh- not too hot, runny or greasy like so many other restaurants.Vegetarian & celiac wife was very happy with Tarka Daal & Saag Paneer; which are so often an after thought with thin, water, bland or lacking in depth of flavour.Pilau rice was multi coloured, well seasoned and very appealing for the children; again, really well cooked with separated grains and a little bite for texture.Large, moist nan bread with that lovely clay oven flavour & black onion seeds running through it.Honestly the best Indian food we've had in Ayrshire and we've tried almost everywhere from Kilmarnock, Irvine, Troon, Prestwick & Ayr. Can't wait to try more dishes & come back again 😑

Utterly disgusting service. Ordered 3 X Lamb Tikka Starters. Arrived cold and meat grey looking. No Tikka sauce.Would not feed a dog this meat!Called to complain before driver was at the end of the road. Told nothing they could do but offer discount on next order (less than cost of the 3 Starters?)Totally disgusting

Sunday night, and I changed a booking last minute from 5 to 14 people! Ayr India looked after us beautifully. Very quick and attentive, both drinks and food came out impressively quickly, this doesn’t often happen when you are a large group. Delicious and lovely atmosphere. Thank you Ayr India!

Disappointing. Given the reviews. Onion bhaji's were sloppy onions. Chicken TM had four small pieces of chicken, the rest was just sauce. Combined with multicoloured rice, the dish turned to a multicoloured rice mush.

First lunch out in over 27 weeks and boy did Ayr India come up with the goods.Food was sublime!Popadoms, spiced onions, mango chutney and tandoori dip...Haggis pakora and chicken tikka flatbread...Followed by chicken tikka chasni and lamb Karahi with rice and the best naan I've tasted!Good social distancing and hygiene.Very friendly and attentive service...and as it was our first visit... Complimentary liqueurs of our choice... Bailey's and a Glayva.First time in Ayr India but most certainly not our last. Highly recommended.
