Sat in and had pie and chips and a pot of tea. It was great. Friendly service and couldn't do enough for me. Very good indeed.

Good old fashioned fish and chips We sat in and the place was very busy with customers coming and going. The foot fall tells a story Will be back when next in Troon

Have been twice this week and loved the fish and chips takeaway both times. Made to order, two fish per supper, excellent chips. Superb value for money. Unfortunately I live in Glasgow and won't be able to visit as often as I would like to, although I will be back.

Great fish and chips, it pays to go early, they can run out on a good day.

Great service from the staff, nice and friendly and the food was delicious. The fish is worth trying in here. One of the best in troon. Wouldn't hesitate to go back next time going through troon.

We enjoy it each time we go. The fish teas are great ànd the staff are so welcoming even during busy periods. The waitress was especially helpful to my disabled husband and myself.

Disgraceful! Tonight I was asked if I could wait 10 minutes for 2 fish suppers and I agreed thinking they'd be freshly made and so after 15 minutes they were ready. I didn't see them come out the fryer and once home I unwrapped them and got chips that had obviously been reheated and practically inedible accompanied by more batter than fish! Once was best in town but can't recommend now.

Two fish and chip suppers and a sausage chips and gravy supper for £21 I think is way too much and to be honest I felt the quality of the fish and batter could have been better. The saving grace was the efficiency of the staff and the very friendly servers who worked very hard to get the food out hot and fresh. It would have been better to have one piece of decent sized fish rather than two small ones. Great shame. Sorry for the three stars.
