Piersland House Hotel in South Ayrshire

Great hotel ,room very clean and spacious, only complaint could here other guests outside room and using stairwell . Brilliant evening meal ,great selection and variety on menu and very friendly staff , breakfast good but others in my party didn't rate sausages , I am diet restricted so steer away from traditional breakfasts but good selection on continental table . Family stayed in mews beautiful and suitable for a family of 3

Such a lovely Hotel. Food is amazing and lovely atmosphere. Staff pleasant. Would highly recommendVisited here working for their guests as Scotland wedding photographer.Looking forward to coming back working and as a costumer too.

Had an overnight trip to the Persians House Hotel and had a lovely experience. The room was nice and comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were superb. The staff were friendly and helpful, even the seagulls making a noise at 6am couldn't spoil our experience. Will be back! Only down side was the bar area could be a bit bigger so that once you have finished your meal you could get a table to have coffee etc in the bar.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. Rooms are immaculate & the staff are all held up, friendly & polite. The food in the restaurant is also excellent.

We stayed in one of the mews rooms and I loved that it had a separate sitting room. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food and service was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic food and service. Rooms amazing and clean. Only downfall was at bar no coke only had diet coke otherwise top marks

Lovely tudor style hotel in Troon. We had a comfortable stay in a superior room, which was large and comfortable. Food delicious and choice extensive from the menu.

Accomodations are very good and the staff are friendly. Dinner was good and, again, the staff were great. We chose to sit in the bar as the occupancy in the dining room was very high.At breakfast, there was just one server who was struggling on his own. Guests were all seated next to each other at with less than a meter between chairs. I'm not sure why they had a buffet a buffet during a pandemic, though I imagine it was easier, just as seating all guests close together to make the service easier. It felt unsafe. Despite the management’s claim to the contrary, there was only one server on duty and most of the tables in the dining room were empty.Other than breakfast (which also featured some kind of artificial egg product for scrambled eggs, despite the manager’s claim), the experience at the Piersland was very good.

Lovely house hotel with original features - outstanding decor. beautiful cozy room, lovely dinner and Scottish breakfast - tatty scone but no slice sausage (only fault). Cozy bar. Nice garden. Good staff. Easy parking. Highly recommended.

My son and I recently spent 2 nights at the Piersland on a golf trip to Scotland. It was a delightful experience. The hotel is beautiful and the restaurant is fabulous. Our accommodations were perfect and the staff was great. I highly recommend staying here if you’re ever in Troon. I will definitely be going back.
