Food and drink good with lots of cakes to choose from. We arrived at 3.30 as the website said it was open until 4.30. We were told it was last orders as in fact the tearoom closes at 4pm in the winter. At 3.45 were were asked to pay "so the girls could cash up". We felt were rushed to leave as on the dot of 4 the shutters were closed. This is not the first time this has happened.

On a cold but sunny day after walking the park, we love to sit in the courtyard in the sunshade be with the best ever bacon rolls and the hottest and tastiest cappuccinos, made to order by the wonderful friendly staff. Unbeatable! Thank you to all who have managed to keep the place open during this time!

Having an eating disorder in a cafe can be tough at the best of times but when you wrap up your sandwich, that you paid for, in a napkin to take home with you as you feel intimidated to eat it, and the chef comes up and aggressively tells you off in front of a full cafe of people, it has confirmed I will never step foot in the establishment again. Mediocre food, unaccommodating and unfriendly.

Had a delicious lunch and staff were friendly. Beautiful surroundings.

Arrived at the tea rooms and there was a sign saying "wait here to be seated" so we waited....and waited....and waited. In the end we left as it was getting a bit embarrassing to be standing there being ignored whilst people at tables stared at us.If you are going to have a wait to be seated sign at least have the common courtesy to check if anyone is waiting. Very poor.

Visited for afternoon tea, lovely fresh sandwiches, baking and scones were a real treat. We loved the coffee. Will definitely be back.Have enjoyed the Cajun chicken and mozzarella wrap and millionaire traybake before too.Elizabeth is always friendly and welcoming.

Rude staff and overpriced food.Went yesterday with my family to get a few sandwiches for a picnic in the park, whilst ordering with one staff member the owner/manager told us to wait in the corridor next door so not to obstruct staff coming and going with food. 1 - we weren't causing and obstruction, 2 - the corridor was a damp looking mess 3 - all the customers were staring at us which was embarrassing. You lost yourself our custom as we didn't buy anything and we won't be back. Horrible attitude and manners!!

The are simple cafe with affordable price.i quite like the sandwiches and the prawns baquette for us is the favourite. Coffee is ok.Cakes are quite nice and good variety. The place very comfortable and if you sit at the back you can see beautiful Rozelle park. Very lushy green and the smell of fresh leaves is all around you ( in a sunny day)

Sorry to say had a distinctly average scone. Overcooked and hard. Maybe I just got the baker on a bad day! Coffee and service was, however, entirely satisfactory. Cakes and fruit pies etc looked good.
