Smiths Bar Ayr in South Ayrshire

Found this wee gem yesterday and loved it.People of all ages having a great time.The food is excellent and the staff go above and beyond with their service and making you feel at home.I left my hat under my table by mistake and called to ask if I could pick it up today when we were coming in for lunch and drinks.Kerry had found it last night and kept it safe for me to collect.The personal touch was very much appreciated.

A day trip to Ayr lovely 😊. Then stop for a bite of lunch been here before was busy Rangers played. But today was just lunch time guests. Food very nice served by two lovely girls. We both enjoyed the food and the restaurant is very calm and relaxing. Will stop in next time we are down.

Good atmosphere, good service, delicious food, what needs more than that?

Booked smiths for 16 people . Done a pre order meal days before arriving . . Couldn't ask for anything better. . Service was great all the company enjoyed there meals . . Portions were big as well . No mix ups on the meals . . All left feeling happy and and the price we were charged. Great 👍 👌 .

Really freindly professional staff. Drinks were spot on food was fantastic. Really good value. Will come back as they allow dog's too. Well done the Smiths should have this service everywhere.

The owners have set up a nice enough place. The bar staff nice The bar manageress not so great on customer service.4 pints food fifth...flat as a pancake....ibasked them to sort bar folk tried but flat..guys at at bar had proper pints (suspect different brand or tap) manageress response was nobody else is complaining.In a nutshell 50/50 for a pint nice venue decent guys behind the bar wee napoleon manageress bit of a ....

Big bar, well laid out with different areas. Very comfortable. Nice conservatory as well. Partly closed for refurbishing currently but still plenty of room. Prices very reasonable and good friendly staff.

Stayed at hotel next door and visited this pub two nights running, staff very friendly and make you feel very welcome. Had a meal the second night and have to say thoroughly enjoyed the Cajun chicken, good value and good size portions. Will definitely visit here again if in the area. Keep up the good work.

Omg what a find this was. Service is 1st class as is the food and an ambience to match. Absolutely loved our trip here and child friendly. Sadly I ordered a dish "cajun chicken crepe" and it was absolutely brilliant 👏 ...the sad bit is... I live a good 2 and a half hours away by car 😭...road trip once a month me thinks 😄😋xThank you for a faultless dining out experience 😁👌🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Has a nice beer garden. But rain was threatening so we sat in the conservatory and they allowed our small dogs in (dog friendly pub). Very friendly staff and very good food at reasonable prices. Nice setting.
