The Black Bull Tarbolton in South Ayrshire

Had a nice wee 2 day stay for our anniversary, clean enough, staff were lovely,food was lovely, but the room was tiny with not the best view

Lovely little hotel with excellent restaurant. Rooms are comfortable but very small and bathrooms have no shelves for toiletries.

We stayed for the weekend because we had a family wedding. The rooms were comfortable.The bar staff were very pleasant and so we're the locals. I would recommend it.

Delicious meal great portion sizes and excellent service

Been here a couple of times for a meal, the food is fantastic as is the staff. Nothing is to much trouble, answering any questions regarding the food. Good sized portions and fair prices. You should try The Black Bull in Tarbolton I don't think you will be disappointed.

If a restaurant critique came here to assess the food/ service/ambience/crockery... they would have a hard job finding fault. The attention to detail will put a smile on ur face with all of the above .... hope that helps 😊

Went for lunch, took Early Bird menu. Could not fault it. Risotto starter, fab! Scampi as a min, cooked with Tempura batter, light and crispy. Well done chef. Service 5* Covid safe. You must try this place! You won't be disappointed.

Haven't been for a while but thoroughly enjoyed it. Meal was great and couldn't argue with the price. Recommend it to anyone. Really nice place

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting family in the UK. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and I slept soundly. The food was top notch, as my expanding wastline will indicate. Professional, friendly and welcoming staff. Have already recommended to friends back here in Down Under who are travelling to the UK, and would also recommend to anyone reading this review. 5 stars!

Booked this place last minute. Food was fantastic and so was the lovely people who worked there. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bar next door was for the locals which were an interesting set of characters. Only fault we could find was some of the decor done on the cheap as carpets were not fitted correctly especially the stairs. But overall 5 stars for hospitality.
