Absolutely great food and a really nice place the only grumble i have there was a bloke at the bar clearing his throat and snorting all the time right behind us as we was eating and the bar staff could of asked him to go outside and clear his throat and nose it sounded disgusting and put ud off going back, would of given 5 stars as that was what the food deserves.

We stopped here for lunch after a walk with our dog. It's a huge plus for us that it's genuinely dog friendly. The food was above average pub fare with some extra special dishes available. They have a spectacular mixed seafood platter, for example (not pictured). The staff were friendly and helpful and service was good. The only downside is the lack of parking which, sadly, is something they can't do anything about.

I've been wanting to try this place since before lock down Feb 2020. Well I got the chance to try it today Sept 2021 and I was not disappointed. Table for 5 and everyone really enjoyed their food. Fish, steak, chicken dishes were all top drawer. Service was quick and professional. Also they pour a fine pint oh Tennents Lager. I will definitely book a table here again. Strongly recommend you try this place 😀👌

I had the lobster thermadore sharing platter, and my wife had the spiced fillet of cod. And the meal was OK. Service was great friendly staff lovley views out the back. Lovely little place to go with the family or your partner . Pet friendly. Outside tables.

What a relaxing and quiet lunch, the food was great, warm, fresh, home-made and there was plenty of it. 2 course lunch with a drink each for under £40. You can eat in the bar which is dog friendly or the restaurant that looks on to the river. Birds galore we gave up trying to count the different species we saw, the Woodpecker was my surprise. Duck with Pine nuts, Crispy Chicken with Honey, Sesame drizzle. Chicken Stroganoff and Steak Pie. Yummy Folks
