Good night with great drinks reasonably priced and good entertainment. Would've been a 5☆ but gents toilets need updating.

Love food here. Great prices. Staff great. Never had a complaint... Only a 4* because sometimes I think the place looks tired.. then I think is as it should be. Huge beer garden and pets welcome.. enjoy your visit .. I do x

Writing this on the train home as we just agreed what a lovely place The Harbour Bar is. In Troon for the day and we wanted to find a place to get in from the fresh wind and have a pint and meal. We were dressed for a winter walk on the beach and wanted somewhere snug and relaxed, so some places felt too dressy, and "on show". We walked in off the street having found The Harbour Bar by chance, and felt lucky to have found it!There are two main bars, and a snug; we were offered a booth in there.Great meal- there was a specials board, and loads on the menu: we went with Gyros, and "an Old Dirty" (a deconstructed cheesy chips and steak pie!) TV was showing the rugby, we could watch, but it wasn't on loud so you could hear yourself chat too, and the place is dog friendly, so we got to pat a pupper or two. Left feeling relaxed after what could have been a stressful day. We'll be back when we can...maybe even with a friend that has a dog (which can sometimes be complicated in some bars)/, but definitely welcomed here).Lovely staff, especially our main Server- we had a lovely chat with her☺️Great service, cold beer. What more could you want?It actually got busier and busier, with tables being reserved, and filling up this modest sized place (although I think it has a beer garden complete with hula girl in Summer!), so I would suggest booking a head so you are not disappointed. This is the perfect traditional seaside pub.

Visited prior to attending a music event in Troon and we were all warmly welcomed. A clean bar, pleasant staff, a wide range of drinks and something for everyone on the menu. Very good value for money too.Everyone in our company agreed that they would recommend it to family and friends. A well deserved five stars.

WOW WOW WOW!!!! What an absolute diamond of a place!! Lovely quiet traditional pub, serving food that is from 4*+ restaurants. All freshly cooked, all piping hot, all full of flavours. So glad I don't live nearby as I would be here every night! Portions are amazing. Staff are so polite, friendly and helpful. Please please support this fantastic small pub
