Lovely food, freshly cooked, generous portions, friendly staff

Visited the pub to watch the Scotland v Denmark game, Whilst working in the area. Won't be back to be honest. T.v on wall, so you need to strain neck to see the whole screen dart board placed in an awkward place and the Monkey Shoulder malt was watered down. Old and disgusting place.

Cozy wee pub with lots of character. Barman nice with good sense of humour. I sat in beer garden while waiting on my bus. I am a female Oap. I felt safe and accepted!!! Great.

Parked motorhome in the nearby Aire and with our dog visited the pub. Before we had a chance to order a drink @ the bar a local made friends with our dog and had a dish full ot water for him. Very friendly bar staff and local customers.

Great food in this wee Cafe, the fish and chips are excellent, cheap and cheerful and easily much better than any McBurger place. The staff were lovely, polite and friendly

Fish, chips, peas, buttered bread and a cuppa... Doesn't get much better
