overpriced food and drinks, small portions and unhygienic restaurant. £3.40 for a bottle of coke and £10 for cocktails? i know brexit has caused prices to go up for certain things but charging that much for a drink is a joke. not to mention old food is wedged down the sides of the booth seats which staff can't be bothered cleaning! overall wouldn't give them the money and there are several other places in ayr where you can get your moneys worth :)

The menu is average, typical pub food which is overpriced. The drinks carry a hefty west end of Glasgow price list for far less quality and the most expensive soda water and lime in the country, at £3.40, The Ivy is less expensive. The staff are friendly and helpful, they get the star.

The service in this restaurant was not up to standard as i asked for my pizza without jalapeños and i got it with them on. I asked for curly fries and didn’t get them but the food was good

Great experience at the Meridian. Fast service and quality breakfast. Coffee was well made and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We will be back

Lovely pub/restaurant with friendly folk serving you. When I visited this week, it was filled to the brim (and no wonder), but that made it a bit too noisy for me to enjoy. But, that's me, perhaps you like a good buzz. The food was really amazing! So, the busyness speaks for that!

Meh. Good pint of gamma IPA and most of the staff are really good. A couple that need to concentrate on their hosting. Cocktails are ok but continually getting orders wrong or having to remind them after waiting for 20-mIns isn't great.Chips were cardboard-like and had to ask for mayo twice to make them palatable.Very good value for money and has a good family friendly atmosphere.

Good food, massive portions and reasonable price. Service was good as well. Would definitely go back.

The Meridian was pretty Good the food didn't take long to be served but it was in pretty small portions. Unfortunately the drinks were pretty bland and didn't taste good. Other then that the prices are reasonable and the staff are nice.If you want a quick dinner this is the place to go.Recommended ✅

Popped in for a quick lunch, it took 45 minutes to get our food. I had to waive down a waitress who didn't look that bothered and just said she'd check with the kitchen. Sandwich and baked potato arrived shortly after but the sandwich order was wrong, got an apology for the order being wrong but not the ridiculous length of time it took to be served a sandwich, a small handful of tortilla chips and some dry salad leaves.

Food was excellent. Our server sean was wonderful. However the lateshift after Sean's shift was over were absolutely terrible.Took them ten minutes to notice that we had finished. One server was standing there in front of the bar looking out for possible tables to attend to but was clearly in a world of her on. The other one was yapping away to some people he knew for ten minutes straight. They were certainly the prime example of terrible customer service.
