The Secret Garden provides a great atmosphere to enjoy a coffee or tea outside. I visited for some lunch and sat in the outdoor area with dogs and beautiful wildlife. Despite a short drizzle of rain I still managed to stay dry under the canopy.I ordered the Cajun chicken panini and chips with a large coffee, which is always my go to at a cafe. The portion sizes were good however I did not enjoy the panini at all. The chicken inside was an odd blended texture. I expected chicken breast chunks instead as every other cafe serves it this way. The panini roll was also an interesting choice with plenty of crunch to it but not to my taste. I decided to order some cakes as I was really enjoying the atmosphere but again I wasn't overly impressed with them. I shared a biscoff slice and mars bar cripsy. The cake was a little dry and the crispy was lacking in crisps and a bit stale.Overall I would recommend for the lovely atmosphere and coffee but perhaps avoid the food.

Delicious eggs Benedict and smooth coffee. This was our first visit and we really enjoyed it. Nice outdoor space too, popular with walkers and dog friendly. We even appreciated the mellow playlist in the background. Perfect Sunday brunch listening!

Nice welcoming staff, who didn't bay an eyelid when we invaded the place with two buggy, a 6 week old baby and a 21 month old hungry and hyper toddler. Good food and drinks. Nothing too much trouble. We'll certainly be back.

A really lovely place to stop off for a bite to eat or just a coffee. Try their scones with butter and jam. What a treat, taste delicious. Would recommend.

Stopped in today and tried the Scottish breakfast. Excellent quality bacon, well cooked black pudding and decent egg. Decent thick toast and nice tattie scone. Unfortunately disappointingly the Lorne slice was tiny and soggy and if you are going to add sausage link, I would expect 2 or 1 twice the size. I assume this is supposed to be a FULL breakfast, no tomatoes or beans or hot drink included in the exorbitant £9.00 price. Tea £2 extra? There's no need to make it look nice by adding some fresh spinach garnish. You have a delightful place in a great spot, dont spoil it by over hiking your prices for a simple full breakfast especially when nearby competitiors can do better for £7 including drink and please consider your portion sizes. I will be back with work in a few weeks and I will revisit but have to say I will avoid your brekky.

An amazing hidden gem! This cafe has a huge menu offering lots of delicious savoury and sweet treats. We’re both gluten free and the menu had loads of option for us. The staff were super friendly and really knowledgeable about allergies/ dietary requirements. They whipped us up two of the best gluten free chicken burgers we’ve ever had plus a few fresh smoothies! Whether you’re gluten free or not, I’d recommend stopping here for a bite to eat.

This little cafe is real a secret germ. It has an indoor and outdoor seating area. We booked a table in the morning for lunch time and we're happy we did as it was busy and we wanted to eat in. Had salmon salad and ham and cheese panini. All fresh and delicious. As dessert the fuge scone is highly recommended, if you still have room left in your stomach. We definitely come back.
