Meal was lovely, staff friendly and helped as much as they could BUT the seating was situated at the front door which was very badly fitted and blowing a very cold draft across the table.Sat freezing with all jackets left on. when I asked staff about the cold was told it was the draft through the door, and they did not normally use this seating. ( It was if a fan was blowing across the table it was that bad) but no relocation offered, they did put a chair in front of the main door of the restaurant to try to stop it opening to no avail.Decided not to stay for desert or coffee because of the cold.Could have been a lovely meal if it hadn't been so cold. For the lack of maintenance fixing the front door and putting draft excluder on the inner door ( the gap by the way was about 1/2" )What a shame.

Great little place for authentic Italian (and other) cuisine.Decor is not flashy, but the food is wonderful and very reasonably priced (and very friendly service too). Located right on Burns Statue Square it's an excellent choice for an enjoyable food experience for locals and visitors alike.(My main of duck and seasonal vegetables is pictured).Highly recommended

It is my favourite place to eat hands down. Staff are lovely, so accommodating and the food is amazing! If I could rate it higher I would xx

In relation with good opinions we decided to eat dinner at Vito's. Food was average and absolutely overpriced. We ordered two pizza's.. one of them was with the goat cheese and another one with parma ham. The dough was crispy but the rest was just tasteless. Generally I do not recommend the pizza. Taste of pasta was good. Olive oil was disgusting.. like for the Italian Restaurant it was the worst oil I have ever tasted.. and the container for oil was sticky from dirt. The staff was really lovely and kind and I could not complain about that.

probably one of the best pizza and pasta shop in Scotland , we had a vegetarian pizza and penne pasta. Pizza was baked to perfection like you would get in Italy , and pasta was equally good with rich creamy sauce. Will definitely return

Great food and absolutely lovely atmosphere. For starters we ate the Haggis bonbons and the King prawns with Nduja sauce. I recommend both. The Nduja sauce is amazing sausage taste and you have a tagliatelle version of it that was one of our main dishes. The prawns were fresh and just the perfect texture. The Bolognese was OK. The chocolate caramel tarte and the sticky toffee pudding went fine with the very creamy double espresso. On the espresso: you rarely get this quality of pure coffee when it does have a good kick, but remains tender - these lovely people know how to make coffee. Thumbs up and returning with a smile (that stays for a while after two double espressos😁).
