After several attempts to eat here, we finally managed it. This had been due to visiting and seeing long queues and and finding the place closed in Covid tines. Have to say though.... it was worth the wait. Everything is to order hence the queues but the end results is champion. First of all, nothing was greasy! Everything had full taste and was crispy. Cooked to perfection! Not overly pricey and easily matches other places in the area. A definite must!

Unfortunate queues, but there is no doubt, the food is outstanding. You can choose from about 6 different kinds of fish, or lobster, scallops, and more. We waited in the queue for 1 hour and 10 minutes! Then sat at a table near the harbour and ate the most delicious fish and chips with sunset by the sea, so it was well worth the wait. My salmon was amazing, the most perfect light crispy batter.

First of all. Be prepared to wait. And I really mean it!! But - the fish and chips are well worth it. Felt freshly prepared. Batter on the fish was light, the chips were fluffy, and not dry. Probably one of the top 3 Chippys I've been too!

Queued for 45 minutes and then had to wait another half hour before the food was ready. It was delicious as always but the queue and the wait after ordering food has never been anything like this before. I have to say the food, though excellent, probably is not worth the wait.

Amazing. We literally drove from Glasgow just for a chippy. The monkfish supper is so so so good, i definitely recommend getting it. We also had tempura King prawns, they were giant, fresh and cooked perfectly. Chips were fab too, not greasy. Fave chippy I've found in Scotland.

Simply perfect. Wee trip to Troon with mum and all she remembers is the Haddock supper. Job done. Highly recommended

Excellent fish and chips. Just a short walk to sit at a bench and look out over the sea while having a fish supper and a cup of tea - perfect day.

Fantastic fish and chip shop, not just any ordinary chippy but a phenominal one!I had the sea bass and chips, I've got to admit it was one of the best fish and chips I've had.You will wait due to the popularity of the 'plaice' and have to queue but its well worth the wait. It's not too expensive considering the cost of a standard fish supper these days, we will be back!

A wee bit expensive, but worth it. Great selection of different fish, even lobster. Also homemade coleslaw and mushy peas. They sell burgers as well which my kids love. There’s a car park around the corner with amazing views over to Arran and Alisa Craig . Be aware of the seagulls they steal your chips.😂
