Excellent fish and chips! We met up with a long time friend in Ayr & we stopped at Wellington's for a great lunch! Our waitress was amazing; very cozy lunch spot.

Tried fish and Haggis suppers, both ok, but not the best we have had in Ayr. Chips were mainly small crisp bits rather than complete chips. Haggis could have been cooked longer.

Very friendly staff and the best chips we've ever had. Everything was made fresh to order and was still very efficient service. We live 35 miles away and would definitely drive down just for dinner again

Ayr beach was beautiful and you can see Isle of Arran from the shore .. which has a nice distillery

Fish is very fresh and the teatime specials are value for money. Staff are friendly and the portions are large only minus is the seating are a bit cramped
